I think the HB would sound better without that buzz- sounds like the grounding needs looking at. That squier has a bit of magic in it though.
Yes, it sounds really noisy. I hadn't realised until I put it next to the squier.
It's got active pickups, which are new to me.
These guitars need to be modded to stop the grounding issue caused by the black paint on the bridge

What with the noise? Not grounded? My Blackstar had the same problem.
Hi, I thought it was that, but I took it apart and grounded it properly. No difference. It is just the cheap active pickups working like a microphone.

Thanks. It's a Yamaha THR 10. It's got a good selection of clean and distorted tones, plus reverb, delay, and chorus.

It does sound much better in most tests, although the HB sounds much chunkier for the metal riffs at the end of the video.
