Red parries are when you block the first hit of a guard string (a string of moves that you have to block or you get hit) and then parry a later hit in the string. Basically, if you parry while in guard stun the parry flash is red instead of blue.
The parry exhibition was nice but only two of all those combos are possible in the arcade: The Jumping Fierce Kick -> Standing Roundhouse -> Raging Demon on Dudley and the Kongou Kokuretsuzan juggle on Ibuki. Other than that, this video's combos were cosmetic at best.
@AC1O1 Akuma's taunt increases his damage, crouching opponents take more damage in 3s, and Akuma is a glass cannon (in case you want an explanation :P)
They have already said they aren't done with the roster yet. They still have yet to consider which SF3 and SF0 characters they'll add. So there is still a very good chance he'll be in it. In fact, they've hinted at it already. It will still be quite a while before we actually kow the complete roster. And even then, there may be characters to be unlocked that we won't know about. I would be very surprised if he wasn't in it at all.

@RagingDemon21 I will be using Akuma yes. But I also will be using Ken, Dudley, and Ryu. I have also picked up other characters but only slightly. I hope I can get better with the entire cast when 3SO comes out.
You must have SA1 selected to use it, and just use the air version early in a jump. I believe you can input QCF > QCF but end up with your stick (or pad) pointed at a diagonal jump before hitting punch to do the super, but I'm not positive.
It's possible if you turn certain options on pages 8, 9, and 10 of the direction system, but you have to unlock pages 8, 9, and 10. In other words, you can't do this in the arcade.

The reason Daigo looks so impressive is because his opponents are mid level players. KO's Yun now would rape Daigo hard. Daigo doesn't shine in 3s like other games. Also, check out Jiro, Fujiwara, and Kokujin.

@AC1O1 I don't want to come across as an ass, but I think he changed the damage settings in order to achieve that KO combo, he also is able to put his opponents into stun on the first hit on most of these combos, so its not like all of these combos are viable in real game-play.
Yeah, I only realised it was starcraft after hearing the vocals lol. Have you got the official StarCraft Music CD vol 1? Do you know if there are other volumes? Also, woulnd't you think it'll be better if they put the ingame music in? :P
Wish I taped the game where I beat my brother as Dan while he was being Akuma. He got off the Shun Goku Satsu twice and beat me two out of the five games. I got so damn lucky!...
good video! just one question, whats the point of completely missing with a Shin Goku Satsu when rebuilding all that meter takes forever to do? I am not criticizing your video, just the way you used the Instant Hell Murder super.
@RagingDemon21 If you plan on maining Akuma in 3S, I suggest you look up Kuroda or hoshinoaki, it's the same player, but his Akuma is extremely fast and he uses a lot of mix up. Jiro and Yuki are also good Akuma players.
I'm still trying to beat Street Fighter Alpha 3 right now so I'm new to the SF3 scene. I know how the regular parry system works, but can someone explain to me what the difference between normal and red parries are?

Akuma already has weaker defense than all the other characters. Then, taunting before attacking boosts attack power. Not to mention those are powerful strikes already.

A red parry is when you parry a hit in a multi hit attack that you started with blocking. Also called a guard parry.
I like the mass parries with Elena at about 8:30, amazing that can be done with her out of sync animations

i think some of these are possible in tourny at least the juggles anyway. Once your in the air your helpless.
yes kysg uses a programable controller to shocase the posibilities of akuma and many other chars
twelve was in xcopy mode as Akuma, When and his defense was lower then a normal Akuma. Then he used to ddd 3xpunch super to inta kill him.
