Makes sens Earth joins the larger FTL galaxy and everyone else is ahead. Like in stat trek the first FTL ship was a broken nucleac missile and makeshift flux capacitor, the aliens that visits earth are like how did monkey use a microwave to get into space??!

Fist contact is my favorite Star Trek movie. It completely makes sense. How a planet of angry apes convinces significantly more advanced civilizations to join a federation is the real science fiction. In this play-through they weren't even remotely interested. They puny hoomans just didn't have enough to offer.

Dang the one reason i stopped playing Stellaris was the mosh pit laser light show battles, when they fix it i'll pick it up again, i get swarming tactics and ships as wellas the space fighter jets but they should have the ships fire at each other from max range.

The way they try to encircle each other is legit. Surely there is no way a stray missile or laser will go off course and blast one of your own ships. After 8 years of laser light shows I don't think we will ever see it change. I never zoom into the system I just watch the stats from the galaxy view. I did this time for the pretty light show so I could use it in the intro.

I always custom design the ship computer to artillery when i get it. they stay ways away and kite all the enemies.

I realize I've been neglecting the intricacies of fleet design and tactics lately. It's time to shift my attention from the big picture to the finer details. I used to excel at this before taking a break, but now I'm eager to catch up on all the changes and master the new systems. Appreciate the advice! I'll definitely explore artillery-focused fleets in my next play-through!

    Btw why no fortress worlds?

Because I was today years old when I learned about fortress worlds. I mostly avoid guides and forums so I can fully enjoy the game through my many failures. Do you make your capital planet a fortress world?

@@piZZlePlayZ look for choke points to hold and block. Also a little tip try to utilize the market more. It only benefits you. For example at the beginning you dont need surplus food. Sell it and buy minerals to push the planet just a bit more. It adds up over the years
