Thanks so much for this and sharing your knowledge with us ...I am a regular water 'dipper' and wanted a paddle board for ages & after a few wobbly tries on someone's board..I was hooked, its indescribably wonderfull ....ive just invested in my first board ... ..I'm definitely going to book a few individual lessons with an instructor and join a club ....
Safety is paramount and like you said, ....and I wouldn't consider wandering onto open water without experienced company ..

I’m a lightweight, bought a paddle board to relax on the water, I’ve a lot to learn, starting out on the lakes where there are many other boarders to learn from and with. Hoping for a fun summer. By the way for sure the Isles of Scilly are magical. I visited many years ago. 😃

Hi, just moved to the uk recently and I’m unsure on laws as such and where I can go. I’ve heard from locals that canals aren’t the safest as I take my kids with me. Is there anywhere around Shropshire Wales you could reccomend
