  • The Mowrator S1 is surprising, impressive, a beast, incredibly fun, and unlike anything I have tried before.

    Your review/demo was the very best comprehensive video yet.

    Cleaning using water like that is quite common on bigger machines. My ride on recommends a 5min run time with the water running and the blade as close to the ground as possible

    I really wished it would cut straighter lines. I wanted to buy this but I think for the money I’m going with an auto mower. This line is fun and like it will definitely cut anything but for the money I want a good looking lawn. I agree it should have accessories like trailer and baskets. The yarbo has towing unfortunately its vapor ware and not in production. I’m not going to fund their development. If this had auto features w gps it would be the best

      Choose what is right for you Sven. Because of where I live and the kind of lawns I have, it is a great compliment to my automated mowers. The Mowrator will mow through anything.
      The automated version of it is in the works afaik. Should be amazing.

    Do you think the mowrator could handle thick weeds like thistles and mustard? It appears like it can do a lot of what a brush mower does. I would be skeptical about sticks and branches.

    • @LarsKlintTech
      @LarsKlintTech  Před 24 dny

      It absolutely can. You might have to mow first with the deck all the way up, then mow it again a few times to get it right.
      I have mowed thick weeds, dusty areas with lots of sticks, tall grassy areas, paddocks and much more.

    Interesting about the charging of the remote, I charged mine with a regular USB cable and put the OG cable in the drawer. Also how did you switch the distance limiter off please ?

    • @LarsKlintTech
      @LarsKlintTech  Před měsícem

      There have been several firmware upgrades since I recorded this, so that might explain it. I should try charging it again with a standard cable. The distance limiter can no longer be switched off. It is a really annoying 🙄

      There is a 2WD version where the front wheels swivel, but then it would be able to do as much heavy duty stuff.

      Watch the video, and you'll see why the Mowrator is a brilliant compliment to an automated mower. What I mowed with it, an automated mower or traditional mower would never be able to. I even spell out why in the video, as well as mention that an automated version is coming as well.

      That's a pity. You would have seen why this is in a completely different league from the automated mowers. I absolutely love this thing, but it also suits my property, as there is a lot that just wouldn't work with automation. Watch from 36:34 to see why.

  • @JamesSeedorf
    @JamesSeedorf Před měsícem +1

    How much are they paying you to shill this bad product so hard? It clearly is very difficult to drive and manage overlap vs misses (as evidenced by all the skips at 17:48). Sure it can cut more than an automated mower, but its not going to out mow an electric push mower that is

    • @LarsKlintTech
      @LarsKlintTech  Před měsícem +5

      Hi James. Thanks for watching. I really appreciate it ☺ It may come as a chock, but different people can have different opinions on things. In this case it really suits my property. I have mowed a large chunk of grass with the S1, that was so thick and tall I couldn't use a ride-on, a push mower, or an automated mower. My only other option would have been a tractor with a slasher. Compared to an electric push mower, it has so much more power, I am out of the dust, I don't have to step in the long grass (which often has snakes and other critters in Australia), and I can stand in the shade. All huge plusses in my book. Is it difficult to steer? Not really, it is just getting the feel for it, and Mowrator has since pushed two firmware updates that has made that easier too. I have used a ride-on for a decade, and the vibration, noise and dust is not something I long for.
      Oh, and they didn't pay me anything. Again, it is my opinion, and calling me a swindler and trickster is pretty low. Let me know where your content is too. I'd love to support your efforts.

      My back acre is on a 30 degree slope with 18-inch weeds and lots of mature pine and oak trees. Using my electric push mower up that hill was a killer last year. My 4WD Mowrator is just the right tool for the job!
