hvitserk pretty much ramined his legs in battle to so exciting and captivating this series is an absolute masterpiece of art I don't think anything will ever come close to this art. The acting and character relationships are so real and immersive like they're actually living the part everyone. All these big budget marvel hero movies and that are just disgusting compared to this it looks like everyone in hollywood is trying to be the man compared to these guys who just are the man

honestly all of the characters are 100% perfect made for them the only character in the show that felt out of place and awkward was sigurd. You could tell he was trying to act the part and sense the ego.

Ivar is one of the most terrifying and well written and acted characters ever, the scene where he stands with arms outstretched and roars when arrows rain down on him and his men left me with chills down my spine

i would say ivar was his ruthlessness in battle and cleverness, hvitserk his fighting skills, bjorn his strength and curiosity, ubbe his love of new land and fairness, sigurd his bitterness and mockery.
Bjorn - Ambition, determination, spirit, similar morals
Ubbe - Curiosity, Openmindedness and willing to work with allies, he achieved Ragnar’s dream twice
Hvirtserk - nihilism, remember when Ragnar went missing, that’s Hvirtserk all over, he struggle to find his place or meaning in life

Actually teeth were in great shape. It wasn't until settlers came to the new world and discovered sugar that everything went down hill for people's teeth.
charcoal cleans teeth for awhile; indians have known it for thousands of years. The problem is the enamel wears out, but that only happens at around 50 years, so if you only plan to live 30 years it doesn't matter.
There hasn’t been a character like this that commanded every scene he was in for me since Tony Soprano. Man this guy deserved some kind of award for his portrayal of this character. Although I didn’t like how they had him crying at the end of his life, I did like that he finally told Hvitserk he loved him. Out of all his brothers, Hvitserk was by his side the most.
Tywin Lannister and Daemon Targaryen spring to mind. Both didn't need to say a single word to intimidate an entire room of noble lords and knights.
Bjorn was the strongest character in Vikings and the only man who managed to scare him and later on put him to his final phase was IVAR

Being a cripple was the thing that made him special alongside all of his mental and physical powers. It all started from being the cripple son of ragnar
