Hiking South Coyote Buttes and White Pocket

- My husband and I have alway wanted to hike the wave. Unfortunately, we have not been successful at winning tickets to hike after many attempts. We decided to apply for the South Coyote Buttes hike and we were successful. Since, we do not have a high clearance vehicle we decided to go on a tour with Kanab Tour Company on side-by-sides. We spent the day exploring South Coyote Buttes locations and to White Pocket. White Pocket is a beautiful location and you do not need a permit to go. Join us as we show the beautiful landscape, amazing sandstone formations, dinosaurs tracks.

It is an amazing landscape. It is such a big area I feel they could allow a few more people a day, but it is a way to protect the area.

I see ya'll discovered Utah and all its beauty. There is enough to see there that we come from the east coast at least twice a year and manage to keep it in a tight budget. The South Buttes are wonderful. After having applied for the wave about 40 times and failing (both the online advanced lottery and two day before... even the in person lottery when they still did that), I think I've given up. They have profited enough off of me. Much easier to get the South permit. We used a street tired rental jeep and managed the high sands to get there but was nervous a few times.
The South Buttes is such a beautiful area! Going to the area with a jeep would be a lot of fun.
