- DJI O3 unit crushes Insta360 Go 3 tiny camera in this drone FPV video comparison! I will show you why DJI O3 FPV is way better camera for FPV. Why wider lens is better and how much more you can get with D-log on the DJI camera.
I did not even test 120fps slow motion or 4K in this video (both are not even available on the Insta360 Go 3 💩)

What are your thoughts on a DJI Mini 3? I just got one, honestly have no clue what your set up is but when you started doing tricks the footage looked really cool
I'll help you to get rid of your Go3. And I'll pay you $5 too.😅
With the go3, I shoot, download, edit, upload. With the O3 it takes a lot more, time, effort and hardware.
The opposite?
Insta360 uses some BS format that needs exporting every-time on Mac to normal MP4 video and Pro or no pro video you just can't get good colors and quality on insta.
It actually even warns, that it's not designed to shoot clips over 5 minutes.. this is why 1 out of every 3 clips gets corrupted or not even recorded when my drone battery lasts for 7-8mins but insta at best will do only short 3 clips back to back.
and with DJI you can use standard colors and rocksteady in camera, if you want.
But 10 bit color and gyroflow is where it really shines over the insta. Plus unlimited recording as long as drone battery lasts, unlimited memory with sdcards.
1:00 Green sky almost destroyed by clipping is not very convincing.
What if I'm beginner and I want to start with analoge drone?

Insta 360 go 3 should’ve had better resolution instead of the same as the go 2. They should’ve waited and made it better. O3 smokes it to the point the go 3 becomes superfluous. Its a decent cam for analog quads and casual use.

You should definitely rework your O3 settings. This looks awful.
I just put standard 4:3 2.7K 60fps, 1/120s with manual WB. It's possible that some settings might work even better and I will be testing that later. Maybe gyroflow will work better on higher shutter, maybe there is some difference between resolutions and framerates too.
