The home had Swarovski gold crystal chandeliers, one of the coolest home bars I have ever seen. In Vancouver 90%+ of the price is for the land and 10% is for the price of the house.

Not true. The land is about 60% of the total 3.8M, while house is 2.5 M as assessed price. Some true luxurious homes on the West side will have 1:1 ratio on the building to match the land price.
More like 80 to 85%, but yeah it's a joke. If I had 8 million in cash, no way I would put it towards overpriced homes in Van.

I love the wall molding throughout the home allowing the wall covering and the light to become the artwork for the home that was a very nice touch and it also allowed the tiling to become artwork as well

For almost 8m this house needs: stone fireplace, better quality light fixtures, bigger lot, backyard privacy, some views...This is built for someone who has more $$$ than taste.

Our deck looks out to our beautiful backyard, filled with trees and flowering plants.....not a garage. I would have expected his and hers walk-in closets also.
Yes your are right. From the builders perspective: they are put in a position where the land is very expensive and the lots continue to get smaller and smaller. They face alot of challenges and try to do their best. I just show the homes. Thanks for watching and commenting i appreciate it!!

You are paying extra for the land - land in Vacounver is very expensive.

Seen some videoes from Vancouver and they are all extremely high priced... Can someone tell me... For 8 mill CAD there are a lot of other places i would rather live in Canada or USA
@@Gibbs-rq4yg lets say the price of the land comprise 90% of the property price since this is in Vancouver. Vancouver is like Manhattan of Canada , there are cheaper options elsewhere.

The Master closet is way too small even for one person, I'd need to adapt one of the bedrooms for a closet
I liked the chandeliers; the washrooms were beautiful. I wanted to see if the 3rd bedroom ,besides the masters and the 2nd bedroom , had a big closet too. Im more interested in seeing houses with a minimum of 4 bedrooms which have all en suite washrooms. Not really a fan of the wine room,since I don’t drink hehe. The entertainment room was out of this world. Thanks for the video.

Just dont have a sauna room or swimming pool,could of been better too with those,and that wrap around porch with the small kitchen area around the other side on porch area just didnt like it either,to much of a hassle ya know. Love the big bedroom and the movie theater area was a bomb... like the bar area too...
People this house is over priced seen larger homes and better features for less but that's BC for you.

This house doesn't worth more than 1 mill or 1.5 ,, small rooms and just a simple house.
Say what you want but that area’s got some of the top schools throughout the lower mainland. Plus, it’s amongst the safest :) Go for a walk there yourself and you’ll see why prices there are this high.

8 million? Nope. That looks like a 3-4 million dollar home. It also seems tight especially the master.
Lots of "bling" but falls short in a couple of areas. Tiny closet in the master, where are the other bedrooms, laundry in the basement, neighbors are really close. Also, the host seems to talk more about fluff( ie. Lighting) instead of the electronic equipment. Pass.
The master suite overall was small & the WIC location was off. Neighbours are really close no green area outside

Your stats at the beginning indicated a 6 bedroom house, but in your walk-through you only pointed out 3!
Perhaps instead of pointing out that the kitchen appliances are the most expensive brand as being the reason for it being a dream kitchen, let people know why the appliances are what make it a dream kitchen. The walk-through seemed to give little solid detail on home features but a lot of "look at the fancy this or expensive that". Only I believe this is blah blah material but if you only believe it is, your selling me a guess. You also indicate lots of privacy but don't actually let us see the full backyard. It felt like the walk-through was very on the fly.

You are 100% correct.
All the bedrooms are way too small in size. They should have had less bedrooms and made them larger. Even the corridor around the bedrooms is narrow where if you meet another person you'd have difficulty passing. And who would have such a large bar, which takes most of the room. Unless the owner has a bar business going on there. The master bedroom walk in closet isn't impressive for the price of this house. It resembles my walk-in closet and my house only cost me $200 000. And why do they have 2 kitchens. They should have made only one kitchen but larger in size. And whats with all the chandeliers. They are all beautiful but there are way too many. They even have one in the tiny walk-in closet. Really! For the price they are asking, on a property that has no yard with grass and plants, its not worth it.
While this is a beautiful home, for this price they should have a formal dining room. Not just a spot between the two living spaces.
