  • HaHa I know its not that fastest not even close, but its fast. Just a little more testing today. A little step up from yesterday. I will have a video out next on my predator 212 on a KX-85 dirtbike frame I rode it some and plan on going all out stage 4 with it. It runs like a champ now, wheelies and everything you will see in the video. Such a steal for $300 still can't believe that! So excited to move to another project, just hope I get my health straighten out!!

    Really nice build you have here, what size sprocket and chain are you running on the axle? I had 26” tires on my yerf dog but took them off because it feels so bumpy off road. My goal was to make a go kart good for the mud.

    • @kartguy
      @kartguy  Před 3 lety +4

      Yeah mines smooth on road which always suprised me at +50mph but its a 420 had the #35 chain on there with the 212 though. When went to 670cc I got the 780 TAV with whatever sprocket comes on it I believe a 11 tooth. Right now on the axle sprocket I'm running a 60 split tooth sprocket, but reason I run the split is for on the fly changes. I have as 50 tooth for more speed and a 64 tooth for more torque if I go mudding. Thanks for the nice comments and the subscribing buddy!

      @@ElPatronGamefarm Yeah it flies up hills just took my niece and nephew out tonight we went up like a 70 degree grade hill, crazy steep and flies up it even let off going up haha Might upload the footage for next video, but be chill video with me and kids running the crap outta it lol Yeah no probelms on alignment I aslo drilled the holes out in the hub so they didn't just screw in I put them all the way through and lock nut on backside, otherwise the stock ones come loose over time and the sprocket would come loose and you would notice before a problem. Still though I drilled and made it way better by just lock nutting them on the hub. I also use hub lockers on everything one on each side of everything on the axle. The sprocket hub, brake rotor and bearing hangers all use them. Thanks buddy glad you liked it thats awesome of you to say!

I got a 420cc predator motor with a stage 1 kit and I'm trying to aim for atleast 50mph and anything over with made me happy. I realistically would want 50mph or almost 50mph. What's your advice for a 30 series torque converter 420cc top speed?

      @@RevHeadz95 That depends on the chain as well, what size #420, 500 or #35? Maybe 520 or 530? More than Likely you got 420 and I would really say a 60-65 should do the trick. I use the $60 one from go power sports. They do get hot and stretch, but not too often. Mainly in the winter when I play in the snow and spin the tires a lot, but in the mud don't seem to bother it. Its odd and know the belt wasn't getting wet from snow but mine stretch a little in winter. I just stop and let them cool for 10 minutes go at it again. This only happen a couple times but thought it was worth mentioning, I've been running this almost 2 years. I think I've bought 3 or 4 for it so not too bad, lots of road driving mileage as well. www.gopowersports.com/780-series-drive-belt-1-3-16-wide/?campaignid=15940148387&adgroupid=&adid=&gclid=Cj0KCQjw2_OWBhDqARIsAAUNTTGeLAt6ipAZv3Fie-Qt4iDWyX-vxOfj1iU1dB8_cXaJ0sspRLfcMxoaAg-XEALw_wcB
