I love this fight, I keep getting MVP with captain on this fight. I didn't put Flight over Fight for this fight. Improved dodge was good enough for me survival wise. I'm debating on removing Phalanx, for my run and just put debuff immunity so that we can ignore the slow puddles in that one phase.
@Xynking i think the main reason i needed flight over fight was because i didnt have the dps make the really rough phases shorter (the generic attacking phase) debuff immunity is probably okay? flight over fight + nimble onslaught let me ignore that phase entirely, so i didnt mind much the cd changes werent super annoying since our downtime is horrific, but i could really tell the difference when SBA chains were going on. it wasn’t anything super harsh, but it definitely feels like captain was overall nerfed by the patch we still have roter bug though so its ALLL GOOD
I think this is a good start, we'll se what cygames will plan from here. The game released and then they were working on lucilius, so when the big complains were droppping 2, 3 week before 1.1 it was basically "too late" gamedev isn't easy. Now i'm expecting the next update to be "the one thet goes forward" they had our feedback, they have a month to work on it, let's see what they're cookin' . Also they better have good news for the 25rh april dev stream . I'll give them the benefit of the doubt at least till the may update.
Also i had a great time farming lucilius with my friends, sure the boss has some BS attacks but overall i think it's fine. I started with flight over fight learned the paterns, and now i can run it easy without it. Tbh if every new boss from now on is at least as challenging as lucilius i will be happy. I don't want to be able to AFK farm these, i prefer when you actually have to pay attention to clear the fight. Anyways, nice video and ty for the guides on the captain, i drank the knowledge ;)
@@_Suprix i more or less agree on all fronts with april/may being whether or not i truly lose hope for the game. lucilius is adequately annoying enough that even "afk" farmers have to actively lock their PC usage to hold down the guard/spam dodge to properly clear xdd i watched my friends do some prog on lucilius, and it seemed like they had a ton of fun! i am kind of grateful that the sigils are just "side grades", because it means that players who dont care to grind, arent punished for not wanting to spend the equivalent of a workweek to max out 2 sigils.... thank you for appreciating my videos! it means a lot
People need to speak up, the constant teleports on Lucilius are almost game-breaking for certain character's kits. Not to mention the bad visibility and some better visual telegraphs needed on some attacks and some improvements still needed on the camera. You're not alone in feeling the way you do in the video.
yeah, its like… fine? but for such a hyped piece of content, especially considering they slapped credits at the end, i thought it would feel way more polished outside of the aesthetics
nah, its a massive CDR nerf to her hidden passive, and you can't reliably prestack arts 4 anymore if you started a combo if you have complete permanent uptime, 30fps danchou is heavily nerfed, 60 fps danchou is slightly nerfed, and 120 fps danchou is buffed. if there's any significant downtime, she's way way worse for "optimal dps" builds -- that being said, it seems like her support builds are a bit better because you can actually cast everything during arts 4 now!
I beat it once and i just am done with the game at this point. There isn't any reason to continue playing. And the fight is not fun. It's just chasing him around the entire time with way too much going on. Like you said, it's hard to even see where he is. And this fight is horrible for multiplayer. And like i said in another of your videos, this game had too many exploits and it was the main way of playing many characters. Now everyone says nerf, which i guess it is but they fixed unintended stuff that i thought felt bad and looked really bad to begin with. A lot i liked about this game but it's just missing too much or too many things just weren't done very well. Feels amatuerish in a way. Honestly don't remember a game i was so high on for a good couple weeks when i first started playing it, to now actually asking myself if it's even a good game...
i’ll probably continue playing it here and there, but it’s definitely lost the “WOW I REALLY WANT TO GRIND THIS GAME” passion that i had when i first got it
