Your ability to just make anything funny is so ridiculous. There are so many different types of standup comedians, but your ability to do it on the fly, responding to things in the news pretty much on the spot, is nuts. Not many standup guys can do that so well, even the ones at the top.
Some don’t seem to understand that Josh is a brilliant commentator and comic, and some points are not meant to be funny and others are meant to crack us up. His take is truly comedy and tragedy braided into deep insights.

That line about McConnel getting the same care as the 9/11 first responders was BRILLIANT.
What kills me is they get free medical for life and call us entitled when we have to work for it. I don't think 9/11 was as big of a deal as people play it up to be, it was just a terrorist attack that we allowed to strip ourselves of rights (TSA, etc). But the people who showed up are hero's, and now they are sick because of the materials the government allowed them to use to build those buildings.
Don't get me wrong it's sad those people were killed, I'm just aware of the insane number of people who die every die because of poverty, and that's so avoidable I'm a bit numb to terrorist attacks and "mass shootings".
That gym partner stuff is gold. He really hit the nail on the head with reform. There's a lot more to it than that but his heart is definitely in the right place.

Lol Josh is so much better than both Noah and Chappelle combined. Noah is never funny. Chapelle is bitter and offensive. Josh is in the middle and grounded. Very grounded.
Trevor Noah was partial about his political commentary. Comedians make fun of all the political parties.
Chappelle is a trans phobic bigot. This guy not giving off those vibes. Trevor told stale jokes off a teleprompter. Seems like this comment was made based on race and a vague resemblance rather than similarities in their personality. Just a dumb comparison.

I've been following Josh's comedy journey for years and he's grown so much! He's always been insightful, curious, and witty! I love that he makes himself laugh as well and that he's lived life which has contributed to so many amazing stories to tell!

Dude's comedic timing is fantastic, his writing is top notch, and he's so quick with the turnaround on the material. Feels like he was bred in a lab for the gig. Missed opportunities TDS.

Honestly i don’t need to yell laughing at comedians every time. Josh has made me near piss myself, but when he does such intelligent modern commentary mixed with the soft jokes, it’s just as good or even better than when he has those pure jokes that just make you bust your sides

Josh Johnson is one of the greats period and I am so happy I get to see his content online.
This young man is great, I pray he surrounds himself with good people who guide and help him grow into the man he is maturing into over the years. Josh is gifted and compassionate, a beautiful combination for a young comedian.

Indeed, Josh. My aunt was registered nurse and was in NYC working in emergency on 9/11. My mother and I are in Toronto and it took days to get in touch with her. She told us about the madness and confusion as she and the rest of the staff worked to care for the victims.
"And I swear to G-d it took forever to wash off all that white dust," she said.
She was dead within a year.

It's funny, because most of the correspondents were getting or going to get a turn before they chose a new host, and I don't know why Josh has never been on screen. He is a writer, but never had spots like Ronnie, Dulce, et cetera?
That PHD / cold blooded joke was both poignant and hilarious - Josh is so good at balancing the hard truths with comic relief. A solid set for sure 👌🏼

Hey Josh! Great set! I noticed one of the audio channels is flipped. Great for a dipole subwoofer setup ^_^ but hard to hear otherwise. I had to rip the video and flip one of the tracks in Audition to be sure and fix it.
