I'll recommend to change your fog light to LED. Looks really cool when you set your fog lights turning on when you are opening your car(coming home/leaving home)

Real nice video man! I've got an 2016 S3 and recently fitted an Oettinger spoiler on it. To be fair it is a bit more expensive, they go for about 200 in the UK, but it does give the car quite a nice edge and just sets it apart a bit from the others. My car is in the daytona grey colourway and I made my tail lights darker with some vinyl tint, I got 2metres of vinyl for next to nothing and would totally recommend this for any darker colour car and I think it would look especially nice on your black A3. 🤪🏎
Also, I made my footwell lighting red by just coloring the lights with a sharpie and I got some S3 puddle lights from amazon for about $16.

Do love a Daytona Grey! cheers for watching mate, mine already has 'cherry red' rears so unsure if I want to make them any darker. Definitely going to look into some foot well/ambient lighting though as a few people have asked me to film something on this!

Brilliant, i love the look, this is actually one of my favourite car designs (and colour) and I'm also totally down with the clean look, simple does it for me! Only one thing that I was screaming about (personal taste of course) is when you preferred the silver logo over the black one xD I absolutely adore the blacks - still I don't own a car, I'm only dreaming :D cheers mate
Somehow I was expecting for interior ambient light to make the list, but fair enough.
Personally looking atm at guides for ashtray ambient light, a nice touch for night rider :D
someone else has mentioned about ambient lighting too so I will definitely look into this!

@@matimcfetridge ive took my rear wiper off my 8p a3 like you have.😁..
Also your fog lights I put a 30 amp resistor on each fog light to stop the warning light screwed it to the crash bar to absorb the heat from it and then I bought some cheapish high powered LED bulbs I believe H8/h11 with fan are you also coded it to come on when you turn pretty good for corner and really lights up

I fitted LED footwell lights in my A3, wired from the ceiling lights so they come on and off as normal. Was about £8 for some speaker wire and LEDs, then about 2 hours with a couple of beers to install.
This sounds like quite a fun little job to be honest, could do an ambient lighting install!

I don’t know if it’s been mentioned before but ,here’s one..So for your next mod, try do a cup Holder retro fit ?i know the older models had them ,so they must fit with slight modification replacing stupid the card tray thing audi decided to selfishly put there haha !
You mean swap the card tray for a pre facelift cup holder and try modify to fit?
Hi you need to try the 8v air vents I have them on mine look great just you can't put a phone holder on it

Looks good bud...... Didn't do your glove box light lol. Don't blame you though its a tad tricky that one. Being a country lad I went for the genuine audi front rubber mats. Way over 35 quid but my god does it save the front floor wells. I'm really wanting to do the rs3 grill now but I'm thinking the std one looks a bit more sleeper style lol.
Being honest mate I totally forgot anout the glovebox light 😂 yeah Im in the sticks too so got some rubbers for winter, cant be without them!
@@matimcfetridge have you got the genuine audi rubber mats buddy? As they protect all up around the pedal area and the passenger one is pretty much bomb proof for the carpet underneath lol.
When you fit the glove box light please do a film on that as I'd like to see how you get on bud✌️

Hey mate, ik this is random but I have a 2006 A3 8P n they don’t have indicators on the mirrors are they possible to install or are they not supported. I can’t find anything on internet

definitely need to! have you seen those Xtrons ones? I like how sort of OEM they look
Got an xtrons unit that was literally plug and play. No harness needed
Careful with the xtrons the older ones have trouble powering the factory installed amp & sub meaning they sound a bit crap. It’s an awkward system where the non bose is part amplified rear & sub. Not sure how the newer xtrons sound but mine sounds a bit crap.

@@toolbanez what version of Android has yours got on it? I think mines an older unit with 7.0 or something. I had a look on xdadev and they said basically the design on this unit meant it couldn’t power the amp fully. Might get rid and get a newer one if they’ve solved it in the newer units.

Have you considered undertaking an LED upgrade on the rear light clusters, I have searched online but can't find any I have an A3 8P1 1.9Tdi 2009, also I would if possible like to add an extra reverse light to the offside light cluster. What are your thoughts. Oh by the way love the Yorkshire accent I'm from Sheffield
Will have a look into this, always been a fan of the rear lights as they are on this car but no harm in an LED upgrade is there!
@@matimcfetridge Thanks for that. Forget about trying AliExpress for A3's at the moment it is only A4's for rear LED's
Great video. What year is your A3 ? Mine is a 2008 and been trying to get confirmation if can upgrade the headlights for the LED that came starting on the 2009's
2010 mine mate, i think you would have to do a full front end swap!
I'd like to get a perforated leather gear knob to match the wheel in my a3, but don't seem to be able to find a genuine Audi one. My fav mod is the honeycomb grill. I would be tempted to go badgeless on mine if I ever get round to a grill myself.
Mine is out of an A1 mate, can make them fit with a bit of fine tuning!
Do you still need it and where are you from? I have a spare one, im from the Netherlands.

@@Vexuality I don’t think his gearbox would like that, DSGs slip with remaps he will defo need a dsg tune also then. Especially at them miles I don’t think it’s worth it. I think he should turn the EGR off and that all.

Nicee. Which model is it though? I mean 2006,2009 etc. I have a 2006 and planning to change the rear lights to a more modern looking ones, but idk if thats possible.
Mine's a 59 plate 2010 so a 'face lift' but you can get the face lift lights and they will fit straight onto your car
@@matimcfetridge my dad said its not possible because these lights are made for the 08’-12’ models, and like I said I have the 06’ version, but I rather believe you hahaha so thanks for the information lad.
Its possible. Mine is 2006 too. Recently I got my rear light change to 2008 version with LED light. Bought used from Lithuania. Little bit of mods by my mechanics & no fault.

Floormats we're just eBay specials! About 18quid, much darker than the originals and not amazing quality.
Damn, hoped you'd drop some website to them but as you say they are crappy and from eBay there is no need i guess, I've been trying to find some better quality ones for some time but no luck only originals mostly used or fakes with garbage quality
If they were good I would give you a link mate but they aren't 😂 I would just go for own carpets from Audi if I were to get another set. Pricey but at least they are good!

The rear change in that car is just simple put the Audi S3 side skirts
