Hey fam, question for you. I just ordered mine, it's coming in 3 days. I tried to buy extra batteries but it's like 500 USD for one, so for 2 will be like the same price as the bike which I bought on Walmart with 4y insurance for 1375usd. My Question is, have you tried like an off brand battery? And if so, you got any links? I'm trying to find people that have this bike and might suggest an affordable alternative, or else I'll just buy a second bike, cause ain't no way I'm paying half the price for 1 battery.
@@Jordan4realz , I can’t imagine why you’d need an additional battery. These now come with two 15 amp hours batteries. Go on throttle setting 4 at 25 mph and you’ll get 40 miles. I never ever pedal.
@@brentcollins9727 I do food delivery, and I currently have a bike with 36v and 28ah and it gets me going for 3-4h but I want to do about 8h+ rather than taking breaks in between the day to go home and charge.
i am womdering how is the heat with the controller i had problem with heat on my other bikes
I've had mine for 8 months now. Get a Suntour suspension seatpost. Don't expect anything near 130 mile range, or whatever they claim. You'll get 80 on flat ground at about 20mph whether you pedal or not. You'll only get more by going under 12mph or a lot of downhill.
I love mine. I Live in a rural area with a lot of dirt roads and need all the frame strength and range I can get. Pulls a little trailer great too.

Your unboxing/review gave me the confidence to assemble mine on my own yesterday, and when I was trying to decide which e-bike I wanted, your video was what tipped the scale in favor of the Gemini X.... my 2nd choice was the Libre. My Gemini X arrived yesterday, and aside from having to flip it upside down to more easily install the front wheel and slip the chain in place (it's simpler to put a chain on an upside down bike since you don't need to move it or lift the backend to do it). The flipping it was tough for me, only because of the weight of the bike, but I took it slow and was able to do it. Though I did need a break after I flipped it rightside up again (I have energy level and endurance issues due to long covid so others may or may not need that break. Including my break, I think I had it fully assembled in about an 1.5 hrs. I've never assembled a bike before, and despite not getting any sort of instructions with it for assembly, simply knowing what an assembled bike looks like was enough for me to assemble it. O ordered a basket set for mine and it should be arriving today so I'll be adding those to my Gemini X sometime today and don't expect any issues installing them based on how easy everything else was. My only dilemma now is to try to figure out where to attach the mount for the cable lock that came with it. I'm 5'2" and have the seat as low as it can possibly go so the seat post is out of the question. I'm thinking about trying to attach it below the frame behind the front wheel if the mount doesn't fit on the handlebars. poking around to see if I can findout what others have done with it, but aside from trying to figure out wher to mount my cable lock, assembly was easier than I thought it would be as someone who has never assembled a bike in their entire life.... aside from removing the front wheel to transport a bike in a vehicle or add/remove accessories. Took it for a ride, but didn't go far because it was raining and I didn't want to get soaked... the fenders worked REALLY well, I didn't end up with a "Racing stripe" up my back and my legs were also free of road debris. Thanks again for your video, it was a HUGE help to me.
Great! My son road mine this week and loved it. I wrapped the cable lock around center brace for storage.
Now that's my kind of bike 👍❤️... I love the fat tires, makes it a little more stable ❤️

Tim, that ebike has A LOT of features I really like! If the price doesn't go up before the first of the month I will order one! I like the fat tires, 2 Samsung batteries (those list for $600 each!). If the price goes back up, I will probably have to back out! It is what it is, Retired Military have to live within a budget! Thanks for the review! ❤❤

A very comprehensive review of this bike, Tim. Great job! Have you tried to use it as a regular bike in case a situation arises where the battery is not able to be recharged?
I sure have. It’s a heavy bike so uphill is hard but 7 speed shifter helps!
Plus, remember, it comes with 2 batteries!
Great review Tim. These bikes are pretty cool but I could never see paying $1600 for one. Definitely a luxury not a necessity.
True but they are very useful on a large property.
For commuting to and from work, my bike is faster than a car where I live, costs very little to charge, and is free to park. Plus exercise and fresh air. Luxury? I guess.
