I would prefer to see more toy car upgrades. It is so cool to see. I spot tons of them in thrift shops and wonder what possibilities exist particularly for those larger sized truck type toy rc trucks.

Hi, I'm a newbie at this, starting a similar conversion-- I had a question, please: I noticed that before you installed the steering servo, the front wheels did not automatically straighten out after you manually steered them left or right. But once the servo was installed, they seemed locked on center. Does the servo automatically hold the front wheels straight unless you steer left or right? I'm asking because my car's original steering setup had a little spring that kept the wheels pointed straight. I took the spring mechanism out because it was in the way of the to-be-installed servo. From this video, it looks like the servo will automatically keep the wheels centered when not steered? Please let me know because otherwise I need to re-install that spring. Thanks for any info...

Sorry my bad I see you do have two shocks on just one is cantilever and the other one is not what you're supposed to find a way to make them oil-filled.
i have the same its crap...all the p;stick parts break very easy....also i have modified it but you dont have good shocks and the car jumos all the time and you dont have a propper seat to put the motor...

No, I didn't cover it, it will be easier for me to see if one gear moves to one side, before stripping a gear , bc the motor so powerful
Should also put lipo on it.
That's a bad idea, it will strip the gears , cars like this cant handle lipo power , even with 7.2v nimh always drifting

I just need buy the electronics bc I ruined the original electronics burnt them up to much power so I want do toy grand to hobby installations bc u put real bt in two of these and with lights but I'm a do a full make over up grade when I complete I'll put on yt
