It's completely crazy to pay for PB Swiss ratcheting drivers. I have three of them. The stubby, the midsize, and the long one. The problem is that they are simply the best drivers made. Luxury and performance are seductive and I enjoy each time I use them. Totally unnecessary, but they are so enjoyable to use that if you can afford them, they are worth it.
Hahaha 🤣 I know what you mean. They are so nice!!! Over priced but I still enjoy them so much
What are your thoughts on the midsize version? Is there a specific use?
@tek2313 The midsized is probably my favorite version. With standard bits, it will do 90% of what a stubby is capable of and with more grip for torque. I also have long bits for it so I can reach those recessed fasteners. When the fastener is down in a hole that the bit holder won't fit in, long bits are perfect. It saved me recently while I was working on an appliance. Love them all, but if I could only have one it would be the midsized with a selection of short and long bits.
Love the PB Swiss drivers with Santopreene handkes...I have that one you have and the 6" flathead for plastic plugs..(instead of a coin)... I actually had to get-up-and-go out to the garage and check my vessel, bit adapter in the kit like yours.
I never noticed that they didn't stick to a magnet but they lock in and I never noticed any kind of an issue..... I still think it's the best bit set I love those bits....👍
Very nice. Glad to hear it. Ya these are great drivers. Haha ya even with that bit adapter I still absolutely live the bit set. A great price for a great selection of quality bits.
So true about doing your research on PB Swiss! Great video!
Thank you!!!
Hello again, Tony
Thank you for another Great Video 👍
Thank you for watching. I always appreciate it
You are most welcome ☺️
what is kind of your grey backdrop?? It looks very nice~
It's a desk mat for a computer desk
I have a question about Tekton Tools
I heard many good things about them in the beginning
I remember a lot of people recommending Tekton best bang for the buck compared to other mid range brands I remember watching the torque test videos on CZcams and seeing how well they held up compared to other brands and I was impressed but now that I want to get Tekton I've been hearing mixed reviews about them
People are saying their wrenches aren't good that the open end slips and their chrome and impact sockets are made of cheap quality despite having a none skip size set
Are there certain things they make good that are worth getting and what things should I avoid getting from them and going elsewhere instead?
Good video pb swiss is moving to snap on prices.
Ya some of them are very spendy.
Awesome Video!!!
Thanks!
Why did you go for the 30mm version and not the longer one? Wondering which one to go for myself.
Bc I personally like to use a shorter screwdriver whenever possible and 90% of the time I don't need a longer reach. I feel like the shorter driver I can use the more control I have
Where did you end buying it from?
Nice tools, but PB Swiss is a bit pricey…many great options for much less.
True. We have many quality brands available on today's market but if you can find these on sales they are a great tool.
A bit expensive, but you’re also paying for lifetime warranty.
Any magnetic bit holder is shit!
