I'm 56 and I say this with sincerity, she has to be doing something right, because whenever an oldie song would come to my head, songs that AJ had covered, I would find myself humming to HER version of it, not the original..I can't help myself ..She is so darn addictive...Cheers..

One amazing thing about her amongst the infinite amazing other things about her is the fact that she sings literally with her breath and every single word is understood and savored deeply by our souls .... She certainly revives all songs she covers making them brand new and clearly understood.

I was shocked how much better Angelina's version was. She is just stunning in this! She is ruining my appreciation of other singers.

I know. After listening to her versions of "A million years ago", "Stay" and "Born to Die" , I felt compelled to go back and listen to the originals, because I liked all of them. Angelina's just had a texture and a soulfulness that set it apart even from those great performances. That she does this as a child is just stunning.
Just so true for many of us following her. If I wanted mechanically created performances, those are also available. Many of them have become musical fingernails on a chalkboard (for my ears, at least) as my soul hears them compared to Angelina's performances.
