1. An important thing to remember about AJ is that she refused to sign for a record deal through AGT and they relented and invited her to sing anyway.
2. AJ is currently signed with Republic Records.
3. She began singing at 18 months and due to her grandmothers influence, she was drawn to and fell in love with jazz and blues music.
4. She has been arranging most, if not all of her music performances since she was 8 years old. Hopefully this will remain as she continues her career with Republic.
5. Currently in 2022 she still performs barefoot and I hope by now that you have discovered the incredible reason why she does that.
6. AJ sews her own clothes, (the cloth is designed by her grandmother) and she stands 6 feet tall at 15 yeats old!
7. We all hope to enjoy her performances for many years to come.
8. BTW I'm 80 and have been involved privately in music since age 7.
Angelina loves Elvis. This is one of 6 Elvis songs that she has covered. And all are great. She has been performing there every year since winning NGT in 2014 at age 8, so this is her 4th time to be there. One Norwegian said that when Angelina performs, it is the hardest ticket to obtain. She is considered a national treasure and they truly love her. And why not. She is beautiful inside and outside. And she is a talent for the ages. I always love your Angelina reactions, Frenchie. Angelina is one of those rare artists who make you feel rather than just hear , even if it is on a computer screen. Many of the highly successful artists who are constantly in the charts do absolutely nothing for me. Angelina is precious and needs to be protected. Stay safe, 🇬🇧

I am 75 years old and have become addicted to hearing and watching Angelina perform. My mind, my heart and my soul open up when i hear her voice. I have told my children and grandchildren that my revised bucket list is now headed by my desire to see Angelina perform live. I have told them that regardless of the location and the cost to get to her performance I plan on attending. i will be watching and waiting for an event to be announced and I hope to see you there. Welcome back and great reaction as usual.
You are not alone. At her concert last summer at Prøysenhuset there were 2 ladies that had traveled all the way from Argentina to rural Norway just to attend the concert. But I really think it was worth it for them, to me it seemed like they were treated very well by Angelina's family.

Angelina's voice has magical healing properties. maybe we should call her "Doctor Angie" Thanks to her my blood pressure is better, my headaches are gone, Takes away my depression over the economy, virus,riots, etc. She is a modern day miracle worker... Some great voices out there, but Angelina's stand out among the crowd, None of the "Fab 4" new young female voices have what she has, Some even GIVE me headaches. Angie was SPECIAL from the day she was born.She is the only singer I have ever worried about, and prayed for. God help us if we ever lose her!

Where I live, in Minot, North Dakota USA, we have a Norweigan celebration called Norsk Hostfest! I have been trying to get them to bring Angelina Jordan in for a concert! It is the largest Norweigan celebration held in the USA. I would love to see her in a live concert.i would probably cry throughout the whole thing!! Lol She does my soul good when I hear her. Nice to have you back, and allow me to wake with my morning coffee to the sweet sounds of my favorite singer in my 78 years, Angelina Jordan. She's 11 here, and watching her grow into this magnificent artist on the same stage almost every year is a true walk down memory lane. One can't get help but get fleeting images of 8 year old Angelina singing "What A Difference A Day Makes" at age 8, and "Feeling Good" at age 10 the year before this on this very spot. Angelina Jordan she sang The yellow brick road and Bohemian Rhapsody she won Norway got talent at seven years old she designs all her own clothes make her own arrangements for the music and she is barefooted because when she was a little girl she saw a girl with no shoes on and she gave her her shoes and this is a reminder every time she's on stage not to wear her shoes what a big heart 💓

You are right there is nothing like live music. & thankfully in my life I have managed to see lots.I saw Joan Baez at The Albert Hall once. & her voice made me feel like ice cubes were sliding down my spine, goose bumps all over. Have a listen to her "Diamonds & Rust" If you do not know it already? Its (A bit before your time) but that is brilliant. With everything Angelina does, I am lost for words. Such a rich, hypnotic, addictive voice at that age is beyond belief.

This is from a sing along TV show on Norwegian TV2 that has been an annual weekly summer show since 2007. The show is held at the Fredriksten fortress in Halden near the Swedish border.
They invite artists/bands to come sing own material or cover other songs. It is mostly Norwegian artists with some Swedes and other international artists that had hits in Norway in the past.
I just want to know. How does she does it, at her age. Put so much emotion into the lyrics. That she is not old enough to have experiences yet. But she delivers her songs with so much Pasion. HOW ??? She almost makes me believe in spiritual reincarnation. (As a self confessed addict)) I Give Up.

When she was 6 years old on holiday she and her family met a poor girl about the same age as Angelina working as a street vendor, she had scares on her feet so Angelina gave the girl her own shoes and promised to never perform with shoes again until all children in the world can afford to have shoes. She performed outdoors in Norway in december for the Nobel prize winners without shoes in 2014

I enjoy reactors whose faces reveal everything before a word is spoken. The words you contribute are a bonus. I hope I am not offending you if I correct something in your video's description. Your English is excellent but when we describe something as happening "since. . . ", we must provide a point of reference or an occasion rather than a measure of time. If we really want to to state a measure of time, we usually prefix "for". So "I have been stressed since Monday/since last week/since June 20th/since my last upload" . . . are all correct, as is "since a few days AGO" because they each refer to a moment in time even if the last one is vague. If we want to mention how long (ie. a measure of time), we would simply say "I have been stressed for a few days/for weeks/for 3 years/forever."
It's not strictly logical, which may be why it's such a common mistake, but the English language and logic are frequently strangers. I promise that I don't habitually pick apart the English of non-native speakers but your English is otherwise so good that it feels mean not to contribute towards making it perfect.

If you notice, Angelina performs barefooted. This happened when she was 6 yrs. old. She came across another little girl of 6 that had no shoes. Angelina gave that little girl hers. Angelina's two main influences are Billie Holiday and Elvis, that's why people keep comparing her to Amy Winehouse, they were both heavily influenced by yhose two! Love the Norwsy crowds and the traditional flowers in the hair!
