Compare that to Inoue's last fights, Crawfords last fights, Usyks last fights and Devin Haney's last fights....
None of them search for a fighter two divisions lower, none of them are ducking a mandatory who everyone wants to see them fight, none of them them is fighting someone who fought once in the last 3 years who is coming off of a mental illness...
But Canelo is...can't compare that to Inoue...

Benevitez was his mandatory and waiting), Jermell (a champion from 2 divisions lower while Benevitez was waiting), Jermall/Mungia (Jermall in 2024 is not a hot top fighter and Mungia isn't hot and is Mexican... I've always said that a loss to Benavidez looks better on his resume than not having him on the resume at all. But a victory over David cements his legacy amongst the greats. It's a win-win for Canelo

Benevidez been at 168 his whole career. He needs to move up. We are talking about a guy in Canelo who won titles at 154,160,168, & 175 while Benwvidez is still at 168 hanging around for a fight with Canelo. Move up to 175 and chase another belt in a diff division. Bemevidez is not a natural 168 either he can easily fight at 175. He needs to move up and stop waiting for 5’8 Canelo to give him a huge pay day. Canelo got the belts he did without having to face benevidez because David didn’t have a belt that he needed. And I would love to see them fight but David should have been moved on.

How do we know that ? The follicle test which should have confirmed cheating but instead confirmed that the levels were attributed to meat not drug use. Second point stop fabricating lies about GGG2.
