From "The Office": an American television mockumentary sitcom broadcast on NBC. Created as an adaptation by Greg Daniels of the British series of the same name, it is a mockumentary that follows the day-to-day lives of the employees of the Scranton, Pennsylvania branch of Dunder Mifflin, a fictional paper supply company. OK but Dwight's pen microphone was such a brilliant move. He placed it so quickly and with such annoyance there's no way Jim picked up on it. Also, using the mallard to distract him was just (chef's kiss).
Dwight's plans or pranks were always brilliant.
That snowball prank is a notch above this one. 😂

I never got why Jim got promoted, he spend the majority of his time flirting with Pam and pranking Dwight
I wouldn’t say majority, I’m sure, in canon, he got his job done fairly well. Well enough to get noticed by Wallace. He also has charisma, which could be more valuable than sales.
Dwight is the best salesman, why would they move him to a managerial position? He’s much more profitable as a salesman.

Would’ve been funnier if, the whole episode, he corrects everyone that calls the mallard a duck, and in his last sentence of the episode, he says, “Do you ACTUALLY believe I’d put my primary listening device into a wooden DUCK?”

This always got me from Dwight. By doing these overrated schemes and trying ti get Jim fired. It was actually going ti work. Michael did so much and even more. But somehow, never got fired!
