    I agree Maria, that plant is very abundant here in the Philippines, it grows like crazy on the tree barks and even rocks,,, and the leaves of that plant grows really huge almost like a banana leaf...... Great video btw.!!!!!!!

      Kumusta ka!? I can only imagine how beautiful they grow in true nature! I don’t recall these growing in the wild as a little girl...but I was too young to remember. Thank you so much for watching and sharing your feedback. Happy Growing!

    I did forget to mention that this plant does appreciate fertilizing and is recommended that you feed it about once a month with a well rounded fertilizer at half strength. Also I apologize that I kept calling the foliage leaves...which of course in fern terminology are called "fronds". So to all my fern lovers please forgive me...but y'all know what I mean!

      Do you have a specific recommendation for fertilizer? I’m very new to being a plant Mom, so I know almost nothing about plants :D

      Florida is very plant friendly. But we do have a very brief and light winter where I am at. Enough to cause major leaf damage but usually not enough to kill the plants. So majority will bounce back. It’s a must I keep my plants outdoors in the Spring, Summer and Autumn months. I get optimum growth and they really love it outside in my jungle garden.

    I had one years ago that I bought as a small houseplant in a 3 inch pot. I had no idea how quickly it would become a beast! It became the size of yours within 2 years. I had to sell it due to lack of space. Their beautiful, but beware to those like me that buy them as the cute little plants they sell them as at grocery stores.

      @PictureMaria1  Před 3 lety +1
