Thank Christ, someone who actually reads the description. This comment section is unreal.
What did he review Watership Down I'm just saying I want to see that review
I couldn't even finish that movie when I was 17 and by the way I'm 18 right now

He probably changed his mind about it, never happened to you?
Justin McNeil Doug gets rain and hail in the summer where he lives. It's literally 120 degrees Fahrenheit here during summer 😑 luckily it's December right now but we don't get snow here. It's only 65 degrees Fahrenheit and our winter is more like the fall weather in October. The leaves are yellow but they haven't completed fallin off.
Justin McNeil but he gave a mini talk about why he can't do you.
Justin McNeil this is from 2011 so he might do it for later

more like insane
in his review for one of the dungeons and dragons movie he complained about dragons blood acting like flaming oil on water. he later, around the end of the video, said he'd never played dungeons and dragons. he yelled at a movie based on a game for something he wasn't sure was in the game or not.
So that means Dragon Ball Evolution is still on the table?
JayFragz Well like Doug said about Phantom Menace, there's only so many ways to call shit shit, and they have all been said by everybody. If anything it will be an editorial.
Jonny Chung Yeah lol just wishful thinking.
JayFragz Never know, Linkara said he would never review Spider-man One Day More and yet he did.
JayFragz Doug said that he was never a fan of the DBZ franchise. He only saw a few episodes of it and he just didn't find the anime that appealing what-so-ever. The only reason why he reviewed Pokemon: The First Movie is because people have been wanting see him make jokes about the movie for no damn reason. Same thing with Digimon: The Movie, he never got into the show, yet people were asking him to review it because of "nostalgia". Dragonball Evolution will NEVER be touched be there's waaaay too many people that were too attached to the franchise and he's not one of them.
Xaviergray87 Actually, he is small fan of DBZ. He just doesn't like Dragon Ball because of japanese humor.

What scene is that
You're kidding right?! How the hell is the animation in the 90s Spider-Man cartoon not good when it's EXACTLY the same as the animation in the X-Men cartoon?!! And how is the dialogue lame when the dialogue in the X-Men cartoon is exactly the same??! They had a freaking two-part crossover for f**k's sake! I've watched both, and you can't say that the dialogue or the animation is any better or worse in one or the other. Seriously, dude, I'll never understand how you can love one and hate the other when the aesthetics are exactly the same. And how was there no pacing?! If anything, I thought the X-Men cartoon had pacing issues!
HumanTarget211 just cus he said is bad it does not mean anything man
I feel you there, many moments I disagree with him a lot too. I thought it was 1 of the best Spiderman animated series of all timesis just truly felt right
HumanTarget211 I feel you, man. However, it is just his opinion. Don't get me wrong, for me, both shows are good. I like both of them. And I am sure that you like the Spider-Man cartoon more then the X-Men cartoon. But Doug just speaking from his point of view. He can not just change his views or opinion just because someone don't agree with him.
HumanTarget211 Not to mention, The Spider-man cartoon was a billion times better than X-men
HumanTarget211 I'm still waiting to find out if he found Mary Jane or not! STILL WAITING FOR A CONCLUSION! *cry*
Tomnickles Wait, are you talking about the 90's cartoon, right? Well, apparently, this is just an old rumor that I read (I don't remember where, though because it has been years.) that Spider-Man Unlimited series is the spin-off series of the 90's series, hence she is there, but only as a cameo. Otherwise, I read that Peter and Madame Web went to the alternate world when it is in the colonial times and not only did they find MJ, but also find Carnage.

Goofy Movie - Done as part of Disneycember
Carebears Nutcracker - Done because the "theatrical only" rule was changed into more of a guideline it seems.
Star Wars Ep. I - Done as part of a editorial I think, redeeming the whole prequel trilogy.
Overall, that's still pretty good. His reasoning for each movie still stands I think

"Why Top 11? Because I like to go 1 step beyond."
Sorry, had to do the intro.
If you're willing to work with any of Netflix's material, you could always do an 'Old Vs New' Watership Down review. While the original traumatized me, it was beautifully made and had great voice acting and respect for its source material. The miniseries might as well have been one of the worst Stephen King miniseries from the 90s and for an animated film had very wooden voice acting.
The brave little toaster is awesome, fuck yeah
That was an awesome movie. The Mars one I watched and it was alright. I didn't see the second one, To The Rescue. I think it was okay
I fucked a toaster once. I forgot to unplug it too.

Derek Kunze I'm the same. I grew up watching its reruns. I don't think I've ever seen a marvel series with so many cameos from other heroes. It had Blade in it before Blade was cool.

A lot of the movies on this list he says he won't do because their not that bad, Goofy Movie included. I'm a relative new comer to the Nostalgia Critic, but wasn't there a point were he started doing more good movies that was a time after this?
Giovanni Orellana dude this was released in 2015 he reviewed a goofy movie in 2017 give it a break
There is only so many movies, so it would make sense he would run out of movies that people care about.
it's interesting how there's over 600 dislikes on this video, i thought Doug did a good job explaining why he won't "review" any of the mentioned movies/shows and he's being fair and reasonable. Sure it would be nice if he could do a review of some other sonic something but there are other people who are more into that kind of stuff anyway.
I think its actually because he went against his word and reviewed most of these movies anyways.
@@RetroRulzMyTown i didn't get that memo, thanks for the info.
@@MageSkeletonhe probably wouldn’t do sonic x because he never seen it
This is one of my favorite videos of his, and I think it's because every time I show someone a Nostalgia Critic video, they get defensive, they always say "Oh, but I liked that movie, what's wrong with it?" and I feel that this video paints the Critic in a very relatable light, because in several cases he becomes just as defensive, "I liked this movie, why do you hate it?", and that's a nice side of him to see.
Until he decides to just review the movies and make petty jabs at it anyways.
Lol

Dr. Jasontheman for platformers definitely for shooter genre though cod and fortnite are by far the most toxic
The Spider-Man 90's TV show was awesome.
GameBoi36 It has a villain problem.
Imaad Shahrukh not really since the layout of the show was similar to the comic books
That show was definitely awesome! I dont know what he is talking about.
Galladeiator It does. Almost all the villains are nothing more than the Kingpin's flunkeys. Even Green Goblin and Doc Ock, Spiderman's archenemies, only have one episode where they are villains on their own right while serving as the Kingpin's flunkeys for the rest of the series.
Imaad Shahrukh is that a problem? that happened in the comics so it's a problem that it's comic book accurate?
When I was really little, i watched the brave little toaster every single summer. I recently rewatched it and (although it was quite dark) I still enjoyed it more than I expected.
“Sonic must have a really hardcore devoted fan base”
Jesus Christ Doug, you have no idea...the things I’ve seen.......where is our god 😭
That Spiderman cartoon was the best one!
Followed by Spectacular.
I dunno I find Spectacular Spider-Man to be better overall. I like the 90's shows connected story lines which closely follow the comics but the voice acting is quite hit and miss (with some even being cringy), the animation is really bad, the dialogue is not too great and the character designs are pretty ugly (seriously why does Peter Parker look like a body builder?).
Spectacular not only looks a hundred times better, but has it's own identity by mixing in elements from different universes and adding some new stuff.
T'was too bad it got cancelled after just 2 seasons though.
Stephen O'Brien i am not a marvel fan but spiderman animated series was the shit man it would have caught Doug's interest if they didn't censored it by not even mentioning death and spectacular was also the shit I don't know why the fuck they stopped it for fucking ultimate spiderman not ultimate at all more like ultimate pussy ass spiderman and the agents of S.H.I.E.L.D filler adventures
Hell yeah it was the best one! What the hell is he talking about? I never missed it! The voice acting was top-notch.
I agree with 1/2 of that statement. That half is the second half.
yes but he is right, pacing is off and animation in the first seasons is not that good. But I agree with you man is my favorite Spiderman cartoon , top 3 cartoon of the 90s!
He ended up reviewing some (care bears, cats don't dance ...) , he'll probably do them all...
And now Brave Little Toaster. This video just keeps aging like fine wine.
Wish the Wall was on this list
What is so strange about a toaster going to Mars?
It was a Disney sequel.
Bradley J. Timm
all I remember about that movie is that they used a ceiling fan to travel through space. I think that alone is pretty weird.
Bradley J. Timm No, I'll tell you what was so strange about it. When they get to Mars, they find out that there's this entire kingdom of appliances who escaped Earth because their manufacturers implemented planned obsolescence into them. And their leader is an evil hearing aid.
Granted it's been years since I saw that movie, but I'm not lying. This is a thing that happened.
that movie was wierd

There's only 2 he hasn't reviewed, either on their own or as part of a block review.
I'd love to see an updated version of this.
“Everything John Hurt touches turns to gold” cut to: “You bring news of the pig?”
I’d like to see the Critic review the Sandlot movies and the Harold & Kumar movies, I can only imagine the kinds of jokes he’d make, like how Sandlot 2 is too similarly to the first movie and how Heading Home was basically the real Sandlot 2 in that regard, or a Top 11 Grossest Harold & Kumar moments, or how the second and third Harold & Kumar movie rely on the first movie’s popularity at some parts(specifically when White Castle is mentioned). It’d also be funny to watch him make fun of movies like Epic Movie, Disaster Movie, Scary Movie 1-5, etc.
4:17 why?! I loved Spider-Man The Animated Series as a kid.
A Serbian Film wasn't listed.
SERBIAN FILM REVIEW CONFIRMED
WheresPoochie a serbian film is a really good drama. I don't see it as nostalgia critic material.
Let me explain my point of view. There's a lot of awful movies around, but A Serbian Film is not one of them. It have good visuals, an outstanding soundtrack and an original story that tries to go beyond the usual topics. You might not like other topics in movies as well, like gore or political topics, but that doesn't mean that movies that involves those topics are inherently bad. Some people defines "The Exorcist" as horrible because of it's blasphemous themes, or "2001 a space odissey" for it's slowyness, but that doesn't make them bad movies. You might not like the themes of the movie, but "A Serbian Film" like "Nymphomaniac" doesn't just try to shock you and they are not just 'fetish movies', they try to critisize and make you reflect on difficoult topics. Like the pornograpic industry or how we see sexual mental ilness. I do not say that everybody has to appreciate those kind of movies, but to just consider them as "horrible" or "fetish movies" is to negate an entire genre of experimental cinema, than in these times, cinema desperatly needs.
sagana Giulio Wow, you seem like an interesting person to have a conversation with
Marcus Z thank you :)
Exploitation flicks? That's cinema snob territory.
In fact I'm pretty sure he's already reviewed it.
5:22 "I'LL STILL DO THE REVIEW" in a video titled "Top 11 Movies I'll NEVER Review".
You know what movie he should've had on this list? Pink Floyd The Wall.
*please don’t remind me of that*
Remake this! Maybe do one every 5 years if you get there!
kcin1523 this was from 2011
SKT it's 2017
TheReal TGC And the video is from 2011. It says it in the description.

#11 That'll be perfect for nostalgia- ween. #10 It's funny because I just watched your nostalgia critic review of it recently. #9 Wait you hated this?? I thought you would like it. It looks bad ass ( especially the intro).#8 Never heard of it. No comment.#7 Never heard of this either. #6 I agree with this one. You shouldn't review it. Besides, you already reviewed a care bears movie. #5 I also watched your recent nc review with this one. #4 I could've sworn you did a nc review with this one. #3 I've heard a lot about this movie. I'll watch it someday. #2 I agree with this one too. You already reviewed something sonic related. #1 Judging from what you just said, there's no point reviewing it.
#6 He already reviwed it...
#2 He already reviewed it...
-Says the animation and dialogue in Spider-Man was bad.
-Follows up with "I never watched it"
Your credibility is now at 0.
Jon Lyons he doesn't need to have seen it to know the dialogue and animation is bad
iceteaaddict
Yeah, you kinda have to see it to say the visuals are bad. You also need to see it to know how it sounds.
Jon Lyons he could've watched clips or heard people say how bad it is, smart arse
iceteaaddict
If you call yourself a reviewer, you cannot make an even remotely accurate blanket statement based on second-hand opinion and/or a few 2 minute clips from an entire television series.
Jon Lyons he meant it as in he never watched it much as a child, so it would not be a fair review.
He says that he won’t do a review of A Goofy Movie. I literally get a suggestion of his review of A Goofy Movie!
read the fucking description of the video.
That hail break in Spiderman was HILARIOUS
Do any of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid movies
JP Gilley those are terrible.
emil engen Only the fourth one. The first three are actually pretty decent movies.
Let's NOT review them. Maybe when you get YOUR own movies we can review THOSE.
If you review the wimpy kid movies, please don't make fun of the books. They're really great, the movies just messed up with the Stories and the humor.
Greg Heffley yo this comment captured all of the movies and book perfectly with minimal words 😂😂😂😂
How come you've never done any of the Terminator movies.
11-Watership Down-Hasn't Done it
10-Goofy Movie-Did it
9-Spider-Man Cartoon-Kinda did it as apart of the Fox Kids episode

Ha jokes on you Doug!!! In the future you do review "The Care Bears Nutcracker."
Read the fucking description
finnbearmom Why so upset? What's with the language?
Sorry it's just I've seen 20 comments of this exact thing
the brave little toaster goes to mars is the only one i saw as a kid. we got it from the video rental place and i remember nothing about it except this vaguely unsettling feeling when i do think of it. i wondered if i'd made it up until i heard people talking about the brave little toaster in recent years lmao
Thank god you ended up reviewing the Brave Little Toaster.
That film deserves more attention than it already has.
We need more weather updates.
Doug: "I will never do the Nutcracker with the Care Bears!
*does A Care Bear Nutcracker*
Did you look at the description
Trevor Kovacs I know it's not actually Doug's channel.
But it is his channel? This video was made originally in 2011 but he only uploaded it to his channel now. I don't know where the older reuploads are from but he probably had a website.
He originally had the website ThatGuyWithTheGlasses & a different CZcams channel (League of Super Critics) with other critics that all got their own youtube channels.
