"You might find a nice girl to be miserable with."
That line is so hilarious, yet so relatable.
I mean, what is love other than just having another person to hold through the highs and lows.
I know everyone loves the older/adult Wednesday from the movies and the musical but this is my favorite Wednesday. So adorable in her morbidness, the very definition of the "perky goth" kid. Shows all us weirdos you can be sweet and weird at the same time. :)
Wouldn't say everyone, anyone whose a fan of this series knows better. This Wednesday was probably the inspiration for Abby Scuito from NCIS lol.
She’s my favorite, there’s only one true Wednesday 🖤
I've never seen an adult Wednesday. I did see the movie with that other young girl who played Wednesday. She made Wednesday into a mean, evil little girl. This original Wednesday wasn't like that.
So true!
This is the one and ONLY Wednesday. She was extremely unlikeable and had zero character development in the musical, and kind of dull in the 2019 movies. Here? She’s a sweet adorable innocent girl.
Lurch patting Wednesday on the cheek is a lovely moment
Little Lisa probably got that a lot. The whole cast and crew must have doted on her.
That's one of the few times Lurch smiled without the leer... I think it was a real smile from Ted Cassidy.
His hand is the same size as her entire head
@@mpg296 Bigger! 😆
I love this version of wensday she do cute
Still a classic. I thought little Wednesday was adorable. Lisa Loring nailed it.
Yes!
She was five when she did the show, she couldn't even read the script.
Wea
May she rest in peace now.
Lisa loring was only 6 when these shows were filmed She could barely read the script yet she nailed the character and captured the morbid behavior and her underlying sweetness
"Dear Mom and Dad, i hate you !
Love, Wednesday." 🤣
She nailled it !
I remember reading a story about a woman who had grown up in a painfully dysfunctional family.
The one thing that kept her going was watching "The Addams Family" because she said that it taught her what a loving family should and could be.
She went on to raise a stable and happy family of her own.
What's her name?
@@Thunderchild-gz4gc Wednesday/Jenna Ortega (2022)
@@tejxlllol I think they meant the women
That’s a very touching story. It’s always important when you can see yourself in a character on tv.
I too grew up in a dysfunctional family and I too wish to have a stable and happy family like her, but unfortunately it's over for me.
Isn't she just cute and innocent?😇😍💘
And adorable and darkest
Wea
When Lurch touches her cheek at 1:10, he has the warmest smile on his face, totally unlike his usual "smiling grimace".
A very sweet moment. Probably one of the reasons that little kids at the time identified with him.
The whole cast must have just doted on her.
Yeah, I caught that little smile.
Just heartwarming.
A wonderfully touching moment. I love Wednesday's response, "You might find some nice girl to be miserable with!" So empathic... they really are connected.
Ted Cassidy (Lurch) was a radio announcer in Dallas and covered the Kennedy assassination.
Lurch was so big, and Wednesday was so tiny. It was always so cute to see them together!
Rest in peace Lisa Loring. Thank you for this great character
She was the best Wednesday Addams ever
Honestly, she is the fact that she was the youngest to play the character, I think that makes her the most talented actor. She was impressive actress for a six year old.
The writing is surprisingly sharp for a 60s show.
Better than any sitcom today for sure.
Tv was a lot better in the 60's.....
@@juliemnm8273 And better still in the 70s
Even though I love Christina Ricci’s Wednesday Addams, I can’t get over Lisa Loring’s sheer adorableness! I honestly think both interpretations work very well.
Both are great. But this one does feel closer to the original comics. She acted like a regular little girl in those. Smiling from time to time, being cute, playing. She was just very deadpan and creepy like the rest of her family. This one gives off the same feel.
Respect 🙏
She may Rest in peace
Ricci is more dark and sinister
@@maxsavage3998 how I thought that she is just so cute
RIP Lisa Loring, original Wednesday Addams, died 1/28/2023.
Such a brilliant character. Rest in peace Lisa Loring ❤️
Almost everyone in this show are dead😢
@@coolcorn7783 only John Astin, Mr. Gomez Addams himself.
What a hurtful loss!
What a precocious actor, and her dancing is divine!
She is so cute, her exceptional acting is overlooked.
R.I.P Lisa Loring. You’ll always be the one and only original Wednesday.🙏
I know the line about black being a cheerful color was meant to be a joke. But in some cultures it’s actually true. In ancient Egypt, the annual Nile floods would bring in a fertile, black soil. Therefore, the color black represented life to the ancient Egyptians. Just thought I’d share that cool little fun fact.
I thought black was my favorite color for a good reason.
Merci...
I know English but I'm human Indonesia
Excellent
8:20- The famous Margaret Hamilton, AKA the Wicked witch if the West (Wizard of Oz). A great actress and very sweet lady.
She was a kindergarten teacher and dearly loved children.
She loved children to pieces. She must have been so happy working with little Lisa.
rest in peace lisa loring 🥺💔
RIP Lisa, you will always be an icon.
Wow, Lisa Loring was such a talented little girl....I'm fascinated by her.........she was so cute...
Besides being so darned cute, including her personality, little Wednesday was a good actress.
RIP Lisa Loring! 🦇🖤
Another star gone too soon. Rest in peace Lisa. Thank you for all the wonderful memories.
My favourite line is from the Halloween episode. The mail is delivered and turns out to be a carving knife, intended to carve Uncle Fester's likeness in a pumpkin. Wednesday says, "Nice knife. Can we play autopsy?"
Only Wednesday can make playing autopsy sound adorable.
R.I.P. Lisa Loring. :(
Lisa Loring was the First and the Best Wednesday Addams Forever!!!💎🇺🇸
I love this Wednesday coz shes such a polite girl, though mischievous which is how kids should be.
Grew up watching Lisa Loring as Wednesday. She was the best! 🙂
Love this scene of Wednesday and Lurch! Condolences to Lisa Loring's family and fans.
This version of Wendsday is hilarious and adorable
I agree
Rest in Peace, dear Lisa Loring. Your little 'Wednesday Addams' will always live on in my heart ~ and my childhood memories.❤
Poor John Astin, he's the last one left now. r.i.p Lisa, she was brilliant as Wednesday
this version of Wednesday is so adorable and subtly dark at the same time ❤️
Exactly! Too bad modern showrunners and moviemakers no longer know what "subtlety" is.
I love how all Wednesdays each have a brilliant yet different dynamic with different characters in their respective media. 60s Wednesday has her adorable friendship with Lurch, 90s Wednesday has her evil genius act with sidekick Pugsley, and 2022 Wednesday has both her opposites attract double act with Enid, and her dream team duo with Thing.
Yeah when fans argue what Wednesday is the best. Other than maybe the older cartoons, each Wednesday we've seen are all good in their own ways.
I love this version of the Addams family. Cuz they are just sweet and kind they just like unconventional things and everyone thinks they’re weird. But they are just finding the positives in dark or odd things and are very kind to those who don’t understand
Wednesday had all the latest dance moves down. Great little dancer. Lurch, not so much.
That man plays his parts very well. Can never be replaced.
75
Wednesday has serious dance moves.
Wednesday might have taught Lurch how to dance but she picked up how to play the "scales" from me! 🔥🔥🔥 Just as cute as a bat flying backwards that girl!!! 🔥🔥🔥
it is easy to forget because Christina Ricci was so iconic, that the tv show version of Wednesday was really cheerful and friendly.
Best version of Wednesday ever!
"If the spider's don't get him, and being shy and modest doesn't get him...use the trap."
Morticia literally hands Wednesday an animal trap...
I love this show.
there is and always will be only ONE Wednesday....Lisa Loring owns it...
I agree but Christina Ricci killed it in the film version nobody couldn't done it better
@@arncoo63 and Chloe Moretz just ruined it.
@smilebackifyourugly Yes. She was the voice of Wednesday in the 2019 animated film.
@@arncoo63 Ricci's Wednesday was a completely different character.
@@Emper0rH0rde not necessarily!
Such an adorable little girl. Wonder if she even "got" the humor?
Me too! She never smiled or laughed so it's literally impossible to tell. She was awesome though.
When Lurch hold’s Wenesday’s face and smiles at her! 😍😍😍 Uh! That just warms my heart!
RIP Lisa Loring 😢 you’re performance as Wednesday was just charming and adorable. Thanks for everything!
It's sad she passed away right after the Wednesday show took off. I was hoping they could find a way to include her in the show like they did with Christina Ricci. Oh well.
"But I'd rather have a spider."
- Wednesday
The cast is exemplary. Lisa Loring steals the show for me. I wish she were given more screen time... and closeups-- that turned up button nose is too cute. Looking so cute, it is easy to overlook how precisely her vocal intonations fit the scene. She was a natural, like Rusty Hamer on Make Room for Daddy.
Her diction is superb
RIP Lisa Loring! You were an incredible actress even at such a young age!
Cutest Wednesday ever!! 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
Wednesday is very adorable, cutie!
Tim Burton should have taken more from the original in the Netflix series
I agree and disagree because as a teen she’s going to be angsty, bold, and still just as “creepy and kooky, mysterious and spooky” on top of that.
Love her, she’s my favorite Wednesday. 🖤
The only. There can't be two Wednesdays in a week! Ever.
@@mjp96 Yes, the original will always be the the one and only. She will always be remembered as the true Wednesday. She was a sweet talented little girl and a beautiful lady. May she Rest In Peace. 🖤🙏🏻
Such an adorable Wednesday!
Lisa was adorable as young Wednesday
She is my favorite character in this series and is quite the dancer. Forward to the end or almost the end of the video and watch Wednesday dance. She is just adorable.
RIP sweet little angel 🥺
Wednesday is dancing like a Boss
"If you cant believe in witches what can you believe ? "
RIP to the OG Wednesday Addams 🙏

Rest In Peace, Margaret Hamilton.
RIP most of the Family too. Only Lisa Loring & over 90+ John Astin are still alive.
@@TherealRNOwwfpooh
TV Pugsley, Ken Weatherwax. Heart attack, 2014. Alas. Rest to all the departed.
I want a daughter like Wednesday
I love how the young Wednesday still never smiles, but seems happier. Unlike the older Wednesday, who always seems disturbed.😅
True 😆😂
The character's name originates from the line "Wednesday's child is full of woe."
This Wednesday will always be the best one!
Still the best in the role.
RIP
Lisa Loring
(February 16, 1958 - January 28, 2023)
💜 RIP Wednesday.
3:45 she is soo cute I’m keep watching this scene over and over again 🥺🥺🥺
Lisa Loring - The OG
Christina Ricci - The most beloved
Jenna Ortega - Quite a duplicate of Christina's
I'd say Lisa is the beloved amongst OG fans while Ricci is beloved by the 90s movies fans. They're two separate fanbases for the most part.
"Spiders are a girl's best friend" is just iconic
Wednesday is too cute and funny! 😂
She’s so freakin cute!
So sad to hear Lisa Loring has died. She was so adorable. They don't make them like they used to. 😞
3:25 is hilarious. So funny. This shows fantastic.
Who's here to catch up and remember Wednesday for the new Netflix series?
At 1:16 “You might find a nice girl to be miserable Wi-ith“… HAHA! 😂ain’t it the truth?!
Christina Ricci's Wednesday Addams, and Lisa Loring's Wednesday Addams are two completely different characters.
And the animated version. The musical Wednesday is probably the worst one of all
They're all different in that movie
I guess you've never had experience around tween girls then. My daughter isn't exactly the same as she was when she was 8 years old either...
Adolescence can turn you into a different person 😂
@@merfishsandwich691 you realize that the show and the 90s movies aren't connected at all right? Neither are any other interpretation live action or animated. None of them are the same Addams Family. So they are in fact completely different characters as far as portrayals.
Definitely the best Wednesday! Innocently cute yet dark and quirky character. Was a sharp little actress. Movie one was good but too adult dark like…missed the age mark.
“I like being miserable”
“Maybe you’ll find a nice girl to be miserable with”
That’s my life right there.
You know the old adage, "Misery loves company [to death]".
Die Beste und Süßeste Wednesday ❤ die es je gab.
Thank you Lisa Loring, you will always be my favorite Wednesday and you will always be in my heart.
This is the Addams Family I think of whenever people say "Addams Family" not the movies. Not the animated movies. Not that I don't like them, I just think of the TV Series first. Plus, I saw the TV Series first. Yet, I'm only 30 years old, lol. But I watched this when I was only 11 yrs old. Still love & enjoy watching it today. I have both series on DVD & I have both movies plus the animated movie on DVD too. Just waiting for the Addams Family 2 (animated) movie to come out on DVD. I also have the comic book too. It's cool to look at. Little Wednesday is my favorite, she's freak'n adorable! LOL. when Pugsley looked at Gomez's pants because of the smoke coming out!! HAHA..
I’m 32 and the cartoon is what comes to mind first for me.
Interesting that no one ever mentions the original Charles Adams New Yorker cartoons. Of course, they do go a ways back. I knew them from books at my grandmother's house before the series came out- although this series is probably my favorite of all time. As many people say, it's the family I would have liked to have been a part of.
Love you Lisa Loring and you will live in a lot of hearts! She passed away on 1,30,2023
Rest in peace Lisa Loring.
Rest in Peace Lisa.
Most adorable Wednesday
It's exceptionally touching to see such sensibilities among the macabre.
RIP Lisa Loring… rewatching these highlights to honor her ❤
It’s amazing how my Wednesday developed. From a cute little goth girl, to a possible sociopath who’s always miserable but a hilarious dark sense of humor. She was original cute Wednesday and Christina ricci was the original dark Wednesday and now we see her as both
Then I can run away and still be around to see them suffer.
🤣😂😆
When I see Lurch touch Wednesday's cheek I just can't omg. It's so pure.
Wednesday every day 💚🤣👏👏👏
Wednesday, Wednesday, Wednesday, Wednesday, Wednesday, Wednesday, Wednesday. Is this your idea? 7 days so now you have 7 Wednesday's. 8-2-2021
While I enjoyed Christina Ricci's version in the movies. Lisa Loring's Wedensday is just perfection blending the gothic, macabre nature with an adorable six year old girl. There's way more balance and layers to what Lisa did. Ken Weatherwax's Pugsley was VASTLY superior to Jimmy Workman's too.
She’s so sweet 🥺❤️
6:34 that got real super fast
WA: In this dress?
MA: I see what you mean
Wednesday went insane at puberty. Lol
Fr
The original Addams family it great.
I still love it.
Respect to all actors. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Cool, Wonderful! Sweet Girl!♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️👍
R.I.P. Lisa Loring The Best of Wednesday with the best cute dance
I love wednesdays little ballerina outfit when showing lurch how to dance
This is my favourite wednesday, a sweet and cute wednesday ❤.
She's the best Wednesday.....Ever.
