The gaps at the top near where it meets the tent seem rather large - any solution / work around for that ??

It's not for our system any more (to old an Brocken) but I really love that your doing there.It shaw would have beat a three man tent,two stools and a can of baked beans that Christmas Day at Renner Springs with not enough fuel to go forward or back and the truck stop all closed up.Luckily for me a few oldies in caravans rocked up and quickly to a shine to the boss and she had a great time.I dodged a bullet that day! LOL.
What options are there for something similar that you could disconnect from the car each day and still leave it free standing?

Great setup Luke! I’m just wondering if there’d be a way to setup the annex on the tent at a lower height? I’m wanting to put a rtt on my trailer but at about 1500mm high off the ground. Or even if there was two heights so the standard like you have there then a lower heigh for trailers. If I can keep the center of gravity low then that’d be ideal!
Big gaps in the side at the top, I think you ignoring the obvious, no way would that be dry in a decent rain. Fix that and you got something good, I would buy it then , but not with those holes 👍
I have just bought one for my 1.2 RTT. Those gaps you are talking about are able to be resolved because there is 5 x adjustable straps that can be tightened to close those gaps.
Should get a new 76 and have that one setup as a demo car a Gosford 😁 nah jk love the ranger you guys have there looking at doing something very similar with mine 👍
