This weapon and the healer auto have not left my pve loadout since I've gotten them. I don't even use an exotic normally because those two weapons just feel so good to me. Got an ALH/wellspring roll once I managed to get through the servers on day one, and it felt phenomenal in the campaign. On top of that, the GL's damage gives healer auto juice so I can shoot the GL and just keep healing my teammates. After crafting it, I can safely say that this GL is my favorite PvE weapon in the game
@@JarJarBricks01for pure dmg, mtop is better. But if you want something with more utility, that's where this new GL comes in. Just how we used Forbearance for ad clear, this new GL frame is trying to do the same although idk first impressions of the new GL is a bit underwhelming but very fun to use tho

Yeah the first thing I thought when I saw the perk pool was that Chill Clip should've been there. The raw damage of one for all or high ground vs the guaranteed damage and utility of a lingering pool of stasis slow would've been a cool decision to make.
I rarely take it off. I wish it had a nerfed chill clip to apply a small amount of slow but it’s beautiful. Can’t wait to see one of these bad boys with incandescent or chain reaction.
@@fringehouse it would have to be direct hits to proc chill clip tho right? I don’t know if splash damage counts for chill clip since it’s only been on fusions idk if there are any other weapons that roll with it i gotta look 😅
absolutely love this thing! ive been running it with a getaway artist build so i crafted it with auto loading and demo and man do you get your grenade back fast with it its honestly nuts. Plus like you said about the darkenss energy being a lot faster to build up for transcendence makes this thing so worth it imo. also keep up the consistency man these videos are killer!
I love my SFA/OFA that was the first roll I got. Feels awesome spreading those pools around the combat area, and one thing that I haven't seen too many people talking about is how quick it helps to fill up the Darkness side of Transcendence 👍. All in all, really enjoy switching between this and The Call in my kinetic slot 👍
The kinetic slot needs more special backup guns, and this one is exciting. I very much enjoy running an exotic primary in the energy slot, there are many good ones, and then the issue always becomes what to do with the kinetic slot. Auto-loading single tube is often the answer. I think I'll use this a lot.
I’m rocking a crafted Threat Detector and OFA build for the Helm repeatable mission and am enjoying it. I am using it as a main ad clear, ie reloading over and over, just to get more of a feel for it. So far so good.
its my favorite new weapon hands down. I've found that it works well if you throw a glacier grenade and spray the ice with the lost signal, its makes a massive explosion then leaves an even bigger pool behind ;)
Could you test the new exotic giant chest piece and a hot head with field prep clown cartridge? I’m curious to see if it is any good for boss dmg in this meta
It's actually a really good weapon on Prismatic to generate Darkness energy if you're not using a Kinetic weapon. Because Transcendence is based on damage output, DoTs actually generate a lot of consistent energy.
ehroar i have a proposition if u get the new handcannon from this activity the 180 can you try enhanced voltshot on it my thesis is based on the origin trait if voltshot gets the kills it will also spawn a pool of vex milk that could be one of the best ad clearing weapons for tigh spaces
Love the fact that all the tests were run in the same lost sector. He literally enslaved the mobs and the whole area as if they were lab rats in his lab.
As someone who SUCKS with special ammo weapons in pvp I can say for me this is one of if not the most useful special weapons I've ever used. I haven't used it a ton but it's actually really great for people all stacked on each other or holding down tight passage ways
Considered as Witherhoard 2.0, the Lost Signal is quote unquote really weird. I honestly would consider this weapon if you don't have Witherhoard maxed out to full potential plus the catalyst. The perk pool for this weapon was made specifically for Ad Clear, and not for DPS Phases in Raids, Dungeons, etc.. If you choose to go for DPS, the roll that Ehroar had would be it IMO, but for Ad Clear, I would go with either Strategist (Demolitionist for Class Ability), Auto Loading Holster (ALH), Stats for All, or Feeding Frenzy (to especially help with the Reload Speed on this weapon, get a kill, up to x5, and you reload the weapon, bing, bang, boom, you're good to go) in the third column, and to pair any of the four perks that I mentioned for the fourth column, I recommend that you don't sleep on my number one draft pick for this weapon with Reverberation for that Gravaton Lance Like Ad Clear Damage, other selections would be Vorpal Weapon (especially for clearing out side yellow bar enemies), Unrelenting (for those of us who cant stay alive to save an @$$!), One for All (good to pair it with Stats for All) or Demolitionist (for grenade recharge). This weapon, again is for ad clear, and I would recommend getting this weapon IF you don't have Witherhoard maxed out plus the Catalyst.
I was super excited for this GL when I first saw it. Now I'm kinda.middle of the road with it. I like it but I don't love it. I do think it has a lot of potential though
My problem with these is are there any scenarios where a special weapon should be used for ad clear? Usually I feel like the job of special is for majors. Double special is the only scenario it’d be good that I can think of
kid named wave-frame gls: but yeah i still only use my special for damage, primaries are pretty much only for add-clear so that's what i use them for. which makes it even funnier when bungie puts add-clear perks on linear fusions or heavy gls
@@dankerbelleven primaries aren't good for adds unless they're exotic just because of how tanky enemies are and the increased enemy density of the game now due to artificial difficulty
@kky7346 this is a little bit incorrect. Legendary primaries are still good, as long as you have a good damage perk. Kinetic tremors, voltshot, incandescent, firefly, dragonfly etc.
One for all is very nice for bursting down majors and it obliterates ads. I have auto loading + one for all with a handling masterwork on my crafted and I already have like 5K kills on it
Its weird that usually some new good stuff are put in End game content like Trials or dungeon/raid. Surprisingly this time bungie just put it in seasonal which is a easier content.
I like it, but I do feel I needs a buff vs guardians, majors, and bosses. In pvp it only deals like 21 damage per tick, and in pve it just feels a little weak vs tougher enemies

I feel like this will be slightly less effective on controller where you can’t whip it around as easily. I play on 10 sensitivity and it doesn’t feel great tbh.
I really don't like the animation for it shooting It just feels wrong specially since I'm so used to seeing that model on the ignition code. But it does seem really cool as a new weapon type
Honestly in any difficult content it's dogshit it doesn't kill anything (contest mode) it's really bad. In normal difficulty content it's pretty cool. I like the champ stunning capability seems really cool
@@jacob-2271 I ran into a warlock using it a few days ago. I think it slows and locks your jump until you’re out of the puddle on top of doing a decent amount DoT. I think there’s definitely a play to made with it in some niche troll builds
I just have a hard time seeing myself using this over witherhoard. The ad clear as someone on console who can’t accurately spread out all 5 shots, it’s just not worth the effort to me. Plus witherhoard can double stack against bosses, direct impact plus ground ticks.
It’s super weak and only useful for patrol or strikes but Yh it’s neat definitely won’t be getting a crafted roll anytime soon but still great bungie has unique ideas after so long
I dont know why but the design of the weapon totally doesnt fit the way it shoots and the "projectiles", so i kinda find it of setting(hope this is writen right xD) xD
To anyone watching, it's not worth it. The ads aren't your regular destiny 1 ads. They move now and aren't going to stand in the pool waiting for you to shoot. The only ads it'll clear is thrall. Crappy weapon.

The most annoying thing of this weapon is the stagger effect to the enemy's forcing them get out of the pool
I thought I was tripping when I noticed a small amount of enemies roll or run right out
I'm pretty sure if the stagger wasn't there the enemies would walk out of the AOE or pool much faster.

They will probably give a raid/Dungeon weapon of the same frame chill clip in the future

I have the battlepass roll that I use with Gjally Ergo Sum and a B&S Falling Guillotine with Strongholds on Titan, it's pretty fun
just thought of ergo sum wave and riskrunner perk w stronghold titan could be a pretty crazy build

Been using it with strategist and wellspring, one burst can give me back my dodge instantly as hunter 👌

It’s actually very good. I keep using it, even on master nightfalls, it was pulling some decent damage against ads
I think it will be powercrept as soon as we get a Strand now with Slice or Hatchling.

Even if the damage is bad it generates dark transcendence energy very quickly

I got Auto loading/demo on day one of TFS and lost my shit. Its perfect.
