Sarah, a small load but a super one. Really neat work... Gill deciding to let the wave be, just brings out the beauty in a clay piece when left to form a shape with it's own weight.

It is so delightful to see the different pottery your students are creating. I always have a project for my students to complete so I can be sure they are learning skills that they can build upon. Then they have “free time” and hopefully will use the skills I just taught them.

My goodness these are just incredible!! The first piece is stunning!! The spheres too!!! What is their function since they have holes in the bottom?? Do you put kiln wash on your cookies? It reallly helps to not take anything off the piece!!

Carolyn's spheres are going onto her patio so she put the holes in the bottom to stop them filling with water. I don't use kiln wash because of the dust. I think it travels during the firing and the dust probably isn't good. Just my opinion but having had cancer I'm not taking any chances! 😊
