Batman in his head thinking “look at that subtle off white coloring, the tasteful thickness of it, oh my god, it even has a watermark.”
Gordon: "Batman? What is it? You're sweating"

impressive, very nice
Genius
Nice
"And you'll never have to"
Man the Nolan trilogy really understood Batman's character
To a T.
...........Or I guess a B, rather.
And they think Pattinson’s Batman is the best 😭

I bet everyone went insane over the Joker card when it was back in theatres.
No doubt
oh we did
oh we did
I did. This was the first Batman movie I saw in theaters.
I was 7 years old, and I absolutely lost it. I was actually mad the movie ended.
"If you're good at something, never do it for free"
Words to live by
"You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain."
Also words to live by.
It's Not Who I Am Underneath But what i do That Defines me. A Code
"If you're really good at something, do it while wearing an animal costume"
Guess I should be a jiggalo
LOL, so... that movie ended with _The Joker_ *_doing it for free._*
The key thing to understand about The Joker in _The Dark Knight_ is that he's a liar.
Little did they know then that card would make history. All Hail The Dark Knight. 🦇
The Dark Knight is truly the best Batman movie of all time.
@@davenierop1540 the batman good not perfect
@davenierop1540 one of the best movies of all time. At least according to imdb
Yes it is. All Hail The Dark Knight 🙇♂️
Truly one of the movies in cinema fr fr ong istg@@davenierop1540
Gordon: Show’s Joker’s card…
Batman: Impressive… Let’s see Paul Allen’s card.
Watch Suicide Squad
Like it was planned all along. Patrick BATeMAN
the other Joker's card
I still love that this ending scene perfectly sets up Batman facing off against the Joker in "The Dark Knight (2008 film)".
Which is why Nolan trilogy brings the best version of James Gordon, no bias, no doubt, only acceptance towards vigilante like Batman, who do good things when no one else would. And Gary Oldman was the perfect choice of playing him, iconic really, because everytime I saw Gordon in another Batman adaptation, I immediately thought of him.
Him and the guy from Gotham are the best.
Gotham's Gordon is too overpowered. He is way too strong, wins every fistfight, shooting, battles. He seemed unbeatable, that's why I don't like that version.
Every single casting in this trilogy was like rolling 7s by the dozen . Oldman, bale, Freeman, Caine, Neeson, Murphy, Hardy… there hasn’t been a grand slam in casting like this since
Fans: "Chris we never said Thank You for the Dark Knight Trilogy"
Nolan: "And you'll never have to."
Nolan: "...that's what the money is for."
@@Nonaggress😂
"I never said thank you " , "You'll never have to" - such an amazing dialogue between Batman and Gordon. How I wish Christopher Nolan directed more Batman movies.
Wish I could have seen the audience reactions to this back in 2005 but I was 4 yrs old
I remember claps and yeah!!! Lol
It was epic
Such an unexpected and perfectly executed little tease
Remember when we were kids and we watched this film for the first time? Damn! My mind was blown away...
I wasn't a kid at that time🤔
@@fcp536 In case you are having trouble remembering, let me help you. You were probably still a sperm, fresh out of your dad's balls and trying to swim through the vaginal cavity towards your Mum's ovum.
Per colpa della aputtanaditumadre c'è in giro un tarzanello in più.
I think I was too young to remember watching this one for the first time, but I do remember seeing The Dark Knight in theatres, and it left a lasting impact
I was born when the dark knight trilogy began and I was 3 when the dark knight came out I was to young to even see the first 2 movies but I did was watch the dark knight rises
"I'll look into it."
It's ironic because Batman just assumes the Joker is just another common criminal here. He doesn't know what's in store for him and Gotham in the sequel.
What a fantastic ending. Bale really had the Batman voice nailed in this film. He should have kept it like that.
Right
Batman fans :We never said thank you.
MR. Nolan : And you will never have to .
Gosh, Gary Oldman and Christian Bale have such amazing chemistry. Same as Bale with Caine. In all the rest of Batman cinema versions, including the last one with Pattison, I just don't feel and see the great chemistry between Bat, Gordon&Alfred. Here it's just perfection. I miss them both - Gary and Christian - as Gordon and Batman!
1:00 "Look at that subtle off-white colouring. The tasteful thickness of it. Oh my god! It even has a watermark"
Nolan doing this in Oppenheimer with JFK kills me
Best introduction villain ever
Best villain introduction ever.
Disney can have all the money in the world
But they'll never top TDK in terms of quality and storytelling
ENDGAME might be the highest grossing superhero of all time
But TDK is the ULTIMATE SUPERHERO MOVIE
"I'll look into it"
He in fact does not look into it
Haha true. He basically underestimates Joker for like, half the next movie and doesn't bother with him until he gets his attention lol
DC did it good with this movie. They showed the “post-credit” cliffhanger with good transition and delivered the result (TDK) with absolute greatness. I’m going to watch the trilogy rn.
Got chills from this
Now let's see Paul Allen's card
"good" cannot exist without "bad"
"bad" cannot exist without "good"
Batman cannot exist without the Joker.
Actually only joker can’t exist without Batman
The Joker and the JFK name drop from Oppenheimer is so similar and just way too cool
Take me back to this era. Life was good!
Gary Oldman one of my favourite actors ever killed it as gprdon
Impressive, very nice ... Now let's see Bane's card
And that’s how the dark knight begins
It's always been so weird to me how they changed Gary Oldman's voice from the first to the second movie, and nothing else about him.
?
I Saw this gem on cinemas 🎬🎥📸🔥
1:27 I still miss your old movieclips ending
I was there kids …I was there in the theatre when the world had their mind blown and applause filled the auditorium with the title credit….
I loved happy endings even cool endings
can't express how awesome this scene is man 6-5-2023
Best Batman movie ever ❤😊
And that's how the myth of the Batman begins.
Truly an amazing movie, well done.
best introduction to a villain
Best superhero movies ever dark knight trilogy
¡Qué fascinante esta escena y quedó buenísima gracias!!👍😊
It’s like after watching a movie about a real Batman living in a totally real world…it’s a great tease to know how a totally real joker would come to life in the Batman begins world. The rest is history.
This is a post credits scene that came before the credits... That's how you do it.
Enough of the credit scenes. If they matter, they'll be in the actual movie.
Never noticed that the evidence tag says the card was recovered by officer “J. Kerr”
Extended scene from Year One :D
Gordon: What about escalation?
Batman: Escalation?
Gordon: ............Oh. Oh, you're REALLY not as smart as I thought you were...
Ainda o melhor Batman
2 chads doing detective work
@Michael Elam If Gordon was a beta he'd have been dragged into corruption like seemingly most of his peers. No, he's a proper leader who sets a good example and that's why he's getting promoted throughout the first two movies
Idc what anyone says... Christian Bale's Gravely voice fits perfectly for The Dark Knight! He's The best Batman as far as I'm concerned!!
Even know I knew he was in the dark knight i still flipped when I heard this a month ago
Dad Can we see The Batman with Robert SHHH wtf son Robert Who NOOO Christian Bale is the Batman
Oh yeah
Gary embodies the comics, he looks like a CortoMaltese drawing . ADMIRATION.
Interesting to note is that Gordon here says "armed robbery double homicide" in reference to the Joker, and that's the first thing we see in TDK is the bank heist scene. The only odd thing there is that more than 2 people died to homicide in that bank in TDK, but with the camera's would have shown Joker killing the bus driver and the bank employee guy so maybe they called it a double homicide for the Joker himself and all the others as separate cases.
The dark knight rises should have ended like this. While Gordon and Batman are heading towards the bat to get the bomb out of the city, Gordon should have said, “you know, I still have never said thank you.” Batman: “I said that you would never have to. And I look to fulfill that promise.”
I can't believe it took me this long to figure out the bank robbery Gordon's talking about is the one at the beginning of The Dark Knight
The first time that Joker card was shown, we knew who was to come, we just didn't know what to expect, except excitement.
The dark knight next
Let’s see Paul Allen’s card. How weird that Paul Allen actor would later portray the joker in another movie.
Impressive, now let’s see Paul Allen’s calling card
"We start carrying semi-automatics..."
Were Gotham police carrying muskets at this point? No wonder the criminals ruled the city. Seriously though, it's frightening to get something this basic so drastically wrong.
If I actually became an actor I think i would be a great Batman character
Nice code
Lucius Fox/Lucius Fox

The Batman is way too edgy and boring compared to the Nolan films, which also lacked some of the theatrics of the Burton films. The perfect Batman film has yet to be made
So in that case why don't you portray Batman and show the world how amazing you are
What? I'm not the biggest fan of the new batman, but nolans trilogy is far more edgy...
