It's funny he mentioned about people willing to take a pay cut to work somewhere that aligns better with values. I think this is a really healthy decision.
How do i get started in selling to HR? I'm extremely motivated.
1. Learn how to sell
2. Get a sales job in any industry and crush it
3. Get your feet through the door and work for any B2B company you can find
4. Transition into HR technology/services sales through a payroll company (They hire pretty easily) and expand your industry knowledge
5. Now you've become really valuable to the marketplace and it should be pretty easy to get any job where you will sell only to HR
