    I really enjoyed watching, I live in assisted living. I am going to try to teach this to a group here, we need things to fight boredom. So wish me luck . I will need to get the place to buy the supplies.

    I would like to say THANK YOU VERY MUCH, Your video was super clear as were the instructions. Sometimes I find when trying to learn something new people go way to fast and dont give all the directions. You spoke and explained just at the right pace. I would have loved to see what you were using on back. But maybe that's on one of your other pages? I will look. Thanks again!!!

    Fwiw if you do not have one already: I found that working on a standard wooden marudai becomes faster with practice. And one of the Jacqui Carey books shows you how to make designs/pick colors. I pretty much have stayed with basic braids.

    I'm doing one in red, Russia, pink and white, mostly because that's as close as I could get to graduated colors from my local stores. But it looks like a perfect braid for Valentine's Day. I'll add a little heart charm to the clasp.

    I love it when they are simple patterns. You will have to show how to finish it . Do you burn and or glue without the knot and put a ibbonbracelet end or do you put a cap on the en? love the ccolors too dee

    I've got a question, can you also use a rond one or does it really make a difference if you use a square one? I've got a round one but can't find the square ones anywhere in stores...

    • @CSLdesigns
      @CSLdesigns  Před 8 lety

      +Anise Aarden Technically you can use either disk for any braid, but it is just much easier doing certain ones on specific disks and less confusing when making the braid. Have you had a look online?

    • @spoonfedtruth7666
      @spoonfedtruth7666 Před 7 lety +1

      Anise Aarden Amazon sells them, even sets with all 3 different plates. Happy hunting. Oh, and they're very inexpensive. Hope that helps

    • @CSLdesigns
      @CSLdesigns  Před 8 lety +1

      +Ioana Maria It really depends. I'm sure they do for some people, but it is more meant as a basic tutorial where people can then build on the technique. That's the good thing about knowing many basic techniques. You then have the option to experiment with them/combine them/come up with new designs based on them :-)

      I love this design. Instead of a piece of jewelry i used paracord and made a three colored dog leash. For the handle I stopped the center crossing till the handle was as long as I needed it then crossed again to finish off. It turned out great. Now I am finishing off a dog collar to match. I have also started another leash with a different color placement with four colors. Thank you very much for all your videos.
