- In this tutorial I show you how to make a cute and colourful flat rainbow kumihimo braid. I turned this braid into a bracelet, but you can use the braid for whatever you like. Please feel free to give it a go yourself and I hope you enjoy.

Not sure how you got thumbs down stupid trolls..as always clear directions with what items to use..you are the best teacher on the tube..and your free!! Thanks love it!!
I agree with you. Trolls need to go
back under the bridge and leave her be!
I love this tutorial. Its easy to follow and you explain everything wonderfully. I love your accent. I just started doing humihimo braiding. I am 65 and have been crocheting, knitting since I was 7 years old. I also do counted cross stitch, diamond painting and plastic canvas needlepoint. I practice ,using different plans of yarn and cotton thread. This braiding is fun and easy to do. I can't wait to learn more about this beautiful technique of braiding. Thank you and please keep designing. God Bless.
I think white instead of black would look great too! So it would be like clouds on either side of a rainbow đ
Amazing!
I think this is going to be my FIRST kumihimo project. This is a wonderful tutorial for me to use, as well! Thank You!
I love this design, I'd never made a bracelet this way before, and your video was extremely informative. Thank you đ I now have a new skill and a funky, hand made bracelet đ„°đđ»
Thank you for the tutorial. I've been wanting to learn this technique for a flat braid with colour stripes. The tips for speeding up are great too!
Wonderful! A great teacher. Think I will be able to teach my grandkids. Wish I had written instructions and illustrations n are they available?â€
You are a fantastic teacher! Your directions are always so clear and precise and very much step by step. You are my go - to girl for weaving tutorials! Soon I'll get up the courage to try my hand at wire weaving.
Thank you so much, I really enjoyed watching this video and it has given me confidence to start using my flat kumihimo disk.
You are so talented!
I enjoyed this tutorial very much!!! I love the way you explained moving the threads around. I'm going to get my supplies out and give Another Try
Hermoso trabajo gracias por compartir saludos đ

I'm having trouble with twisting of the braid. I've restarted it so many times and also the tension is tricky. I'm stumbling with that too. Any tricks?
Gracias.
Cute

How long would it take to make a bracelet length of this once you've got a nice rhythm going?
I love this. I have to get a pad so I can do this. Can you add beads to these.
That would be interesting...I would like to know the answer, also! Ooooh...she has 2 tutorials out already! czcams.com/video/RqD33OYKU_A/video.html and czcams.com/video/4mBO2bsd_Xo/video.html
@@fkirby3 thanks alot
Thank you for this video. I have a questionâŠ.any tips on tension. My work seems sooooo tight đ€·đŒââïž thank you.
Hi, Christine. Thanks for this, and your many other tutorials. I enjoy watching them, your work is lovely. I do have a question, though, that I shouldâve been able to figure out, but canât. đ
When you rotate the disk, does it matter which direction, or no? In other words, if I rotate so the top becomes the bottom, will this alter the design?
Always counterclock wise...I was told that itâs the rule
What a nice bracelet đIs it possible to make it with a round Kumihimo? Greetings from the Netherlands đ· Sylvia
Can you do this with a round/circle kumihimo disk? :)
I've made this and it looks quite nice, it's very thin though and so I've decided to double the strings and oh boy it looked horrible. So much black sticking out, color strings weren't aligning neatly, I didn't even finish it, I was shocked by how badly it had turned up.
Instead of moving all the bottom colors back one slot, couldnât you just start with purple on the next round?
