My first hockey game was a 1968 69 in the Stanley cup between the St Louis blues and the Montreal Canadians. That's when I fell in love with the game of hockey. I played hockey from grade school through high School. Then I played in an adult hockey League from the late 80s to the early 90s. I fell away from playing hockey. Then in the spring of 2020 I retired from full-time work. I decided I wanted to start playing hockey again at age 62. I have been practicing every week skating, stickhandling and shooting for the past 26 months. I have combined on and off ice training. I have been watching videos and listening to your program on a regular basis. Now I realize how important it is to develop a mindset that you can do it! My goal is to play in a scrimmage hockey game between former NHL hockey players. I became acquainted with a couple of former players. I finally feel confident enough that I could ask them if I can participate in one of scrimmages.
Thanks to you guys I have can a bulletproof mindset that no matter how old you are you can fulfill your dreams!!
PS when I do finally play and one of their scrimmages I will give you a shout out!!!
Great discussion again.
I’m beerleaguer and have been using sense arena to help me scan and look for passing lanes. Curious how it will translate to the ice.
Only one way to find out
