Today I am fitting a D1 quick release steering wheel boss kit.
Very simple to install and I hope you find the video useful.

Great review there G!
Has helped me choose my latest addition!!!
Cheers Phil and glad you found it useful
Buying one, good security, someone looks in your car and sees no wheel they will move on to the next car. 👍
It is great security, my steering wheel lives in the house.
Nice vid👌it was this that made me buy mine for a 1985 alfa Romeo spider
It's a great bit of kit and a great security device when parked up for a while.
Do you find it has any wiggle style play when wiggling the wheel back and fourth
No, none at all
Hi Mate. Could you tell me what bolt pattern the back part of the QR has? I can't fint it anywhere. I want to put it directly on my Nardi hub for NA Mx-5. (74mm bolt pattern)
I'm not 100% but yeah i think its 6-Bolt 74mm PCD
@@MADL1fe Thanks!
Did you still use D1 quick release and do you have problems with it?
Yes i do, i use it every time i use the car, not had any issues at all.
