Magician David Blaine brings some of his tricks to the "GMA" studios in Times Square and talks about his new 'Beyond Magic' special. www.goodmorningamerica.com/cu...
I think he is retarded or slow, his tricks are simply tricks, nothing more, I know because I do the same profession but he has no personality at all. Barely connects with the audience and always is looking down.
Trinity I bet you cant hold your breath under water for 17 minutes but this trickster can.. he can also dislocate bones pierce his arms and hands and no blood comes out and regurgitate gallons of water and living animals and catch an actual bullet with his mouth. Good luck following that with your magic show ..
Sadly he is probably brain damaged from his endurance stunts, particularly the fasting and static apnea. If you compare to his videos before that, like Street Magic, you can see something in his eyes that used to be alive, now dead.
Those who do actually know how this is done will understand that there are only a few people who have the guts to perform tricks the way DB does. So much control and confidence.

He had him spread the deck so he can locate the 3 of diamonds. For all those types of tricks, the magician already knows what card he wants the person to pick. Even if they're face down. Also, for this trick, you can see some suggestioning for the person to stop at the right moment. First time he says "stop", second time he says it, the person is meant to subconsciously stop moving.
