Anytime i start to have doubts or forget why I invested in the ADA ecosystem... all i gotta do is listen to a Charles Hoskinson interview and I immediately feel comforted, confident, and remember why!
Excellent video... Most haters cannot comprehend the Serious In-depth technology Ada has going on... Just ignore them!!
In a way, that's the great thing about the trolls and their FUD. Time and again, they reveal their ignorance. They seldom offer a legitimate critique.
In depth? Cardano has been in production for 10 years and all this con artist has produced is hype along with feeble/unusable smart contracts, no interoperability due to the nature this failure of a man selected to build it, no scaling as he promised years ago. In short, Cardano has done nothing or gone nowhere.

And what is the problem to take time to develop a system? Do you expect a system to be released all ready and working flawless??
Cardano is the system that is being built the best, with an approach of small steps and testing before moving to the next step. But hey, keep your solana and your dog coins!

And then when proof of stake did work, "Cardano doesn't have smart contracts." Now that Cardano has smart contract, it's "Cardano smart contracts suck. And Charles Hoskinson hasn't delivered X,Y, and Z like he promised." Who knows what we'll hear after X, Y, and Z start rolling out.

A Great Great interview from Mr Hoskinson. It really shows Cardano IS a great long term buy. And it also shows him showing RESPECT to the other main Chains/ Projects such as Gain Wood/ Polkadot, Algorand, Solana and Of course Etherium / VITALIK

I would hope that the airdrop leaves all ADA holders just as vested in Midnight as they are in ADA. If this was to happen, I don't see how any ADA holders could complain. Short of this, there are many concerns ranging from ADA's future, transparency, basic trust, the ecosystem, the community, and some of this will also apply to Midnight too ( due to Midnight having the same author as ADA). Any product that even remotely threatens the value of ADA should not come from the party that created ADA. But progress does happen in many ways. So, this can happen. But, if and when it does, it should happen in a way that fully vests Cardano investors equally in the new product. Especially if this new product is using Cardano as a stepping stone. Using Cardano's decentralization and community as it moves towards its launch, to make the launch much more expedient. Also less of a security the eyes of the SEC. That's pretty convenient. For Midnight anyway.

No. Midnight is not evm. Cardano already has evm compatability through milkimeda, and the yet to be released mamba sidechain.

Charles is an excellent salesman but don't let him intimidate you with his talk. He fabricated his education credentials, along with having no development background and what amounts to a high school diploma. He is a simple salesman who is being paid to sell you a product. You are his customer, and these talks are his sale's pitches.
You should try building something, it's easy to tear others down but it just makes one look moronic and jealous.
