Here’s my install of BBK’s Long Tube Headers and High Flow Catted X-Pipe... Currently paired with Corsa Extremes. I would recommend BBK’s Headers but be prepared for a long day of work and maybe some obstacles like you’ll see here!

curious which model header did you use? I'm getting conflicting info on which ones actually fit 11-14 s-197's
Did you have any problems with the steering shaft hitting the one primary?
How much trouble did you have with the passenger side header? I’m stuck right now with this side, I went with an engine hoist and the header doesn’t seem to line up under the car, any suggestions?
How did you get the motor mounts tightened up? I can’t even get a socket with a swivel on mine

So the supplied header bolts don’t need to be used at all since the oem bolts AND studs can be reused??

did you change out the x pipe you used in this video to a x pipe meant for lth? and if so, did the new x pipe bolt onto the stock over the axle pipes? I see online that the bbk catted x pipe is a 3" but the stock ota is a 2.75 so im wondering how that fits. Btw it sounds great 😎😎

Sounds crazy bro, also what size are these. I'm lost if i should get the 1-7/8 or the 1-3/4 bbk headers
I went with 1-7/8 inch ceramic coated ones cause I thought I was gonna be boosted a lot sooner but if you don’t plan on it I would definitely go with 1-3/4 because I think I’m lacking a lot of back pressure and that could be an issue depending on what your trying to do

Hey bud I forgot to ask you did you need any of the o2 extensions bbk offers separately? I’ve heard you need the front and rear extensions and any for x pipe ? Thanks
No you don't and I would recommend you don't get them because i heard they burn up all the time.You'll just need to un-clip where the two O2 sensors meet and drop them down then zip tie them out of the way.

Are BBK headers really good?
I only hear bad things about them
Only bad thing about them is they normally don't give the highest amount of horsepower. Other than that, they are some of the cheapest and best sounding headers on the market. Spend an extra $100 and get the ceramic coated ones and you're doing even better (Cooler engine bay, no corrosion on the exhaust). BBK is a great value honestly.

No just straight to the mufflers after the high flow cats
