Here from Liz video. New sub. I was there this past summer. If you like water you can kayak and swimm the river. Boat ramp is part of the park. Wetumka is a beauruful city. Right on both sides of the river. Cheers

Thanks for the tips and subscribing! I am planning on going back soon. I actually used to live in Wetumpka a few decades ago 😂 Thanks for watching!

The next time you find yourself in the Gump check out Gunter Hill COE campground on the west side of town. The Catoma loop is all concrete full hook-up. The road from the gate to the sites is pretty long and good for bicycling.

Love your travelogues. Like meditating. Have you done a video re your production methods including components like the GoPro. I’d be very interested in that. Leaving to get our Oliver next week!

Thank you! I know you’ll enjoy your Oliver- congratulations on getting one! I haven’t done anything about how I produce videos, but it doesn’t seem that special to me 😂. Just an iPhone and a GoPro.

We are considering an Oliver in a few years. How to it fair in 100 degrees? Our van would have been an oven. Safe Travels!

If you are hooked to shore power and can run your A/C, it stays nice and cool. I will say that anytime I go inside the camper on hot days, even when it is completely closed up, it is cooler than the outside temp. The Oliver is well insulated. Thanks for watching!

What is the tongue weight. I have a 1/2 ton truck as well with 1568 max payload. Will I be ok?

The dry tongue weight is 490 lbs. I have not been up in the “big” mountains out west, but I’ve had no problems towing with my V8 F-150. The water tank is aft of the wheels so shouldn’t add to tongue weight. Thanks for watching!

@@StevesRoadTripChronicles have you weighed your tough weight? Mine said 600 lbs dry on the sticker for my camper and it was actually 880 dry 😳. Man I was upset. Dreaming someday to get the same camper I bet it pulls like dream.
