Such a complete album. Ashcroft’s songwriting was spectacular on Urban Hymns. I think you can even take away Bittersweet Symphony and it still stands as an incredible album.

Nick Mcabes guitar is off the god damned richter scale. The Verve need to remember that together they are greater than the sum of their parts. They should be together. I love Richard but his live stuff pales in the magnificence of this. Lucky man, any of those singles sound better performed by the verve.
