Looks like a good setup.
Well, ordered same set up. Ulanzi sent me mic that is too big. When I put it on the grip, and put supplied deadcat on top of it, hair from deadcat partially blocks the lens. Also, mic came with two identical 3.5mm jacks cords, which none of them fits my iPhone. Wrote 2 times to Ulanzi, no response. Go figure. So much for Ulanzi. The grip itself is good. Careful before you buy. You may end up with stuff you cannot use or you don’t need
Man that sucks. I am using a cheapo wireless mic. The adapter plugs into the iPhone charging port and mine came with two clip on mics. They have been working fine. I do like the grip with light adapter. I have been using the setup for simple recording. As far as contacting Ulanzi, I have no experience with that but it’s disappointing to hear that you are.
HOW TO RECORED THE VIDEO WITH ULANZI CG02 CAMERA? PLEASE TELL ME .
You have to put the iPhone in video mode first. The remote on the Ulanzi will start and stop it

Also, I think you meant to say the grip has a COLD shoe and not a hot one?

does the zoom work with your iphone?
Yes, but you have to preset it first. The Ulanzi Bluetooth remote only starts \ stops the video recording. It’s not a perfect device but I still like it for self-recording.
