The way the build plays requires 4pc urge for attack speed. Getting the crit from 4pc gloom sort of turns the build more into crit vs attackspeed. It might be feasible though. Maybe i'll give it a try but attack speed rules for DH. Definitely don't go 4pc urge, 2pc gloom though, 2pc shal'baas is required for this.
The real question is how much DPS Vengeance can give you. I've noticed that Vengeance damage was nerfed in PVE, it only gives 1-4% damage for eating up 3 essence slot. Which is not worth it in my opinion. +23% crit rate +15%Damage(4 pcs gloom) VS +1.2 Second Vengance duration +30% attk spd(4pcs vithus) In PVP. Vengeance + Vithus is still a must. But in PVE. If you got 18%+ attk speed in some of your equips. Go for gloom.

Still speculation, i'll be gathering feedback from SEA players tonight ahead of the US patch. If the math is correct, I still think urge will be viable. Definitely not as strong, but still a solid build.
Nice! I still prefer 3 times daring swing vs 2 escapes (can use shoulder for improving multishot). The teleport back window seems to short to me most of the time. What are your thoughts to that? Can u upload full bg video in defense and offense?
daring swing cannot get you out of knockups/black hole, but escape can. You gain 50% movespeed with escape shoulders which makes everything work better. I could upload full videos but you can currently watch vod's on my twitch channel.
Escaping Knockup/black hole is huge. It misses though some flexibility of daring swing - i.e. u cannot chain it multiple times when u get immediately pulled back. Im wondering about ditching multishot and keeping both - escape and daring swing.
The end of barbarian….as a barb I find DH and Wizard the easiest target, but now with battle mage knock back scorch and DH escape…my Barb furious charge is pretty much useless. Better go for brainless CC whirlwind since charge useless 😂
WW barbs definitely mess the escape build up, as a DH i have to pre-escape and port before they WW and sometime even then i'll still get sucked back from 10m away.
whale giving build advce is simply LOL ffs they can just autoattack and merk everyone in the map in pvp without taking any damage, fuckers could literally run in naked and be unkillable
A few reasons: 1. once awakened it has the best magic affixes in 1 gem out of the rest 2. procs off of ancestral stun 3. I play so many different builds and those require chip I could run howlers in place of it for pvp, but see point #1.
There's no real need to do special PVE builds for DH, as you blow away everything low/mid reso anyways in 4 shots max, at least as DH. For bosses you just need to be above CR limit, set bonuses don't even matter tbh. Best advice: have a sader in your group putting up the banner for all-crit when you can fire vengence.

With this build, does the Chip of Stoned Flesh add much to it? What are your thoughts on using the new Concentrated Will instead?
definitely, chip is just a good all around awakened gem (only one with attack speed) but for this build concentrated will is totally feasible.

affixes like attack speed to cap, damage to players, movespeed and damage to shields all play a part, so I don't think you will be as good.
Now that vithu is nerfed, would you consider using gloom 4pc?

the time in escape is really important and sometimes on mobile/controller it feels not as precise.
On top of this Let's give DH permanent 30% attack speed buffs.
4pc urge gives us that + the escape movespeed + 6x vengeance stone makes the burst and mobility crazy!

I wish someone would do pve builds , as a non spender ( battle pass only ) I have zero interest in pvp.
