Diablo Immortal: (PvP) WindForce Demon Hunter Build - Season 13 feat. Gloom Cask and Knockback Shot

- As we close out season 12 and welcome in season 13, us demon hunters have some new gear to play with. I present, my windforce build as it's not a true firestorm build due to not using flamespite. With barbs and beam wizards, we can still proc firestorm so it is not needed. We use Tiresome Rebuke to proc chip and add some control, along side our knockback shot. False Manifesto and Duplicitous Prophetics (Wind Sheer) make knockback shot viable. The build gets rounded out with smokescreen for AoE clear and also for defensive purposes.

Great video and glad to see you back. How would you change this build if I don't have Chip? My six are BSJ, SB, BH, GC, ES, & HC
you can keep the same build, but your burst will be lower without chip by about 8%. I was thinking about dropping chip for HC as well and burn someone off the HC stun. I think it can still work without chip.

Hey man love this vid I’m currently using a more budget version of this build 0:02 with bezerkers, caarsen, bloody reach, power and command and fervent fang. I also have not gotten the wind chest yet so waiting on that. Is chip required for this build or is it okay without it? I really like tiresome rebuke I was using frost before but think this works much better! Would you recommend against using bezerker in PvP due to the increased damage taken? If so what would you replace it with? Thanks so much man keep on creating! :)
Ty so much for the kind words! Chip isn't required, but your burst during smokescreen will be less. For zerker's I would evaluate if you are dying due to the increased damage taken, especially when you are CC'd. Try it with and without. A year ago when I was running it, I decided to run lightning core/everlasting torment instead. The new MH blends breath of winter cc, along with increased damage taken on hatred arrows + hard cc when you hit them with both effects, it really makes this build IMO.
Have you tried the preferred instrument (increases dmg by 10% after using knockback shot) offhand? It felt nice but hard to compare
Because i have my offhand awakened i lose primary attack damage by using that, but could be helpful for burst if you tend to pop everything at once. Will make your multishots hit harder. IIRC it buffs all damage after using knockback shot.

same set pieces and same gear, except i would use swing chill shoulders, drop multishot for impale and run the impale mainhand. Let your barb/beam wizard give you the burn dot. For pants run ruinous path and sub smokescreen for vengence.
skills: knockback shot, daring swing, impale, vengence, crossbow shot.

negative, at my stats losing 10% on crossbow shot is too much damage to lose.

i didnt get it, but i saw the awakened effect, you lose a bit of damage from crossbow shot and the piercing enemies behind. There are many times where you want to hit multiple targets at once. If my single target damage feel slow, i might try it or preferred instrument.

this is the first time we don't need it, but of course if you want to run it, pair it with the fear helm, run scornbeak and run gloom set + urge.

You rarely use smoke screen, is there a different skill you could slot that synergizes with this build?
Two reasons it looks like that, one i changed the normal bind for smokescreen to a new spot so i miss it sometimes and the second reason there's a weird delay happening with abilities where i press smoke screen during multishot and it doesn't activate. If you wanted to replace it because your burst isn't high enough, you could run daring swing pants and run fear helm instead and change out shal baas for gloom. Plenty of options out there!

Multishot iver vengeance is insane lol.. shooting 2x arrows and all that extra speed on top of your set pieces bonus and others is amazing. After I seen that I can’t take anything you say serious.. your only kinda good cause soo much res.. you would do so much more dmg with vengeance
What key do you have Move/Attack set to. When I map it to the left mouse button to it it doesn't do anything? What do you have set for Move and Attack as well out of curisosity?
I use WASD to move. For abilities, i use mouse 1, mouse 2, middle mouse, mouse 3, mouse 4 and C on the keyboard. I dont use attack move bind at all.
@@keyeslol Thanks I only have a 3 button mouse. I guess I should look into a gaming mouse or one with more buttons.
I like 4p vitu + 2p Shal'Baas, but are there any other options you would give a try and feel like it could be decent on this setup? New DoT-Set, Shield Set for survival, one of the other sets?
for this specific build, you don't have dots so banquet and grace are out. If you want to run those sets, try flamespite instead. The gems and gear will change slightly if that's the build you want to play with. If you need more survivability you can try to reforge nettled, use mountbanks and run more defensive legendary gems. Tough to say, i think best offense is the best defense :)

Hi bro, how do you shoot and walk at the same without pressing shift in PC? The problem in my case is that I need to point an enemy an then I can shoot while walking, without any enemy, it doesn't work. Thanks!
use WASD to move, unbind attack move on mouse1 to just attack.
So am I missing something with the seeping bile? At time 2:36 you said it procs seeping bile, I tested this and it does not proc from seeping bile for me.
interesting, I didn't run any continual damage with this build, other than bile to proc atrophied.
I think it’s bugged. Today I got a proc from something and I am not running any DOT skills. Still trying to nail it down! Thanks for your response!
This is procing off seeping today, it must be touch and go like summons procs from time to time. Or maybe mobs are dying before first tick of seeping.
big thanks to your set up, i am able to go against high res whales no problem, extra stun from muti helps big time, big thumbs up XD

Do you think this build would be viable on a lower res player? (1500 res) I still use smoke screen multi shot build because if I take any damage I'm usually dead.
if you're already using SS and familiar with it, adding knockback shot only helps you. If you are keen on running vengence and fear helm, run the swing pants and swap out set pieces for gloom (dash set).
Do you use this build more now rather than your Fire & Ice? What's your take now with more DPS vs. more CC?
Win rate is still higher with fire and ice, control simply wins games. But since i've ran that build for 7-8 seasons it's nice to play something else. Sure I get a ton of kills, the burst with SS and stacking crit damage, armor pen, loss of control damage and chip of stoned flesh, the burst is insane. Last night i got 5 kills through a SS burst and cleared the idol in half a second. Super fun!
@@keyeslol Thanks! I'm a low 2k reso player and I've been using your F&I build. It's still difficult to go toe-to-toe with 5-7k'ers that I'm always matched with, but it's fun catching those few by a surprise.
@@arden625 this build actually better for low res player with the extra cc, i am a 2k res player and this actually let me able to kill 5k+ whales much easier for the first time, Fire ice imo more for high res since they oneshot people easier, this build on the other hands gave us more survial to last longer and finish the kill and get away with it
can you play this build instead of 4 vith + 2 shal whit somthink like 4 vith +2 dash set(dont know the name ) :D or 4 dash and 2 vith and instead of smook veng? or is this not ass good as smoke ??

DH lacks survivability and using one of your swings to proc your 4 piece gloom is quite risky. That being said, i think you'll have problems dropping smokescreen and running vengence unless you run the fear helm. Then you would swap for scornbeak pants. You'll also need to run either the new MH or breath of winter to get uncontrollable proc's prior to swinging and dropping your fear on a group. Hope this helps!
@@keyeslol i whas thinking you can play ice shoulders and 2 pieces gloom becaus 15% overall dmg and shalbars only gives 15% prim dmg so over all i think gloom is better you can play veng instast of smook and use the dmg pants ice shoulders the new multi shot main hand and the new dmg off hand + new helm and new amore
The reason I drop vengence is due to not needing any more single target damage output. I need another defensive + offensive ability. Smokescreen satisfies both, aids with loss of target and AoE burst. Plenty of DHs i know run ice shoulders and different set pieces. I almost am always doing primary attack and using swings to chase or run, so gloom simply doesn't make sense to me. Not saying it can't be done, someone else in the comments asked about using gloom and gave them a build idea.
Is this build only useful if you have chips for legendary gem?
you lose the burst during smokescreen multishot without chip and stacking crit damage, recommend you try it though as games vary based on your res, gear and stats.
Got all 6 today. Don’t think the off hand is better then hunger tho. Any way good stuff 🤜🤛
i agree, from what i've seen in videos i don't think it will be viable.
Why do some Really High res DH’s Use the chip of Stoned flesh? It doesn’t proc like at all with a DH. Even in pvp it isn’t worth it since we have no skills that proc it?
Are those gems your primary 5*gems for both PVP and PVE? Do you use other gems?
i just changed out frozen heart for howler's call again. Stun every 20 seconds is just too good to give up.

yes it would, any form of CC greatly benefits your team.

I don't see your build burning but why is there a firestorm proc on the screen
any burn dot applied to the target will proc firestorm. With the amount of barbs, wizards, and DHs using flamespite, it's not required if you play with your teammates.

season 13 as season 12 is coming to an end and these lego's will be king for the duration of season 13. I was lucky enough to get them before season 12 ends, but i know many still griding for them.

You aren't wrong, but the whale players i fight have way max res, 5 to 6k secondary stats and 800 more combat rating than myself.

If you knew anything, you would know the clip reviews I did are mostly against 7560 res with 6000+ secondaries players where I should lose.
