Gas station clerk killed during robbery in southeast Houston

- A Houston gas station clerk was shot and killed during a robbery on Wednesday morning.
The murder occurred shortly after the employee opened the gas station located at 6600 Mykawa Rd. in southeastern Houston. The incident was reported at 10:55 a.m., and authorities said the victim was already dead when they arrived at the scene.
KPRC 2′s Bill Barajas spoke with Houston Police Department officials on Wednesday afternoon. They told him that they have no information to share on the suspected shooter at this time, but they will provide more after they have viewed the surveillance footage from the store.
The identity of the victim has not yet been released, but HPD says he was a Hispanic male between the ages of 25 and 30.

Criminals need to get a job, or go to prison and pick on people like themselves. Make something of yourself, Be Someone. Leave the gas stations alone. They don't make much money considering the cost to run a gas/convenience store- they're just trying to earn an honest living and provide a service and convenience to the community. So sad.
I used to stay on Southridge by Mykawa Rd years ago Southside rough hood That used to be an old Shamrock Gas station .
