Do they though? I wouldnt say I particularly like any of their covers. Vessel isn't bad. Trench is well designed. Blurryface looks generic but it's also well designed. That's pretty much it IMO.

The Twenty One Pilots album isn't terrible, it's just not as good compared to their other works. It's a fun as hell pop album though. The last 2 songs "No Chances", and "Redecorate" are pretty good though.

i actually think songs of innocence is underrated, u2 is easy to make fun of, but that album has some great songs on it - its pretty overlooked

The Scaled and Icy album cover is incredibly awesome.
The album is completely fine. I don’t even think it’s terrible, like most people think it is terrible, but honestly, come on, it isn’t THAT BAD. Like it isn’t unlistenable AT ALL. Just completely fine, yet twenty one pilots fans hold them to such high standards that they thought it sucked.
I say this as a twenty one pilots fan for 10 years.
The album really makes sense when it comes to the lore but it's such an odd one out from the rest of the albums

The album is good. It's like a solid 7-8/10
YES. And the whole part is it isn't supposed to be a normal TOP album because it is supposed to be produced by the Nine Bishops of Dema so it isn't supposed to be exactly their truth more than Dema Propoganda.
They raised those standard thru the roof with- actually all their most recent albums of the last decade. I can’t say it was Trench because I don’t think SAI even lived up to Vessel or Blurryfaces standards productionwise
as a twenty one pilots fan ! i honestly think the hate train towards SAI isn’t necessary , the album REALLY isn’t as bad as people make it out to be . i believe the fact that it goes completely out of the ‘twenty one pilots style’ when compared to other albums like trench , vessel , blurryface ( ofc ) and for all it’s not out yet !! clancy ! but i feel it still that tøp feel to it when listening to the songs , it sounds like them ! as i said just taking a different approach , also there’s a whole lore thing behind it ( to put it lightly tyler was kept in dema and was made to entrain the citizens of dema , if need be just watch ‘I AM CLANCY’ it’ll explain it better ) .. basically i just suggest listening to it instead of going on for even longer 😭 i swear if you can’t tøp is a special interest of mine i don’t know how else to go about proving that to you 😊

@simplynegan ik lol I was agreeing with you and I'm not a super big fan of them either I'm a melanie fan too but they've helped me a lot all of their music has granted no ones gonna like an artist every song or at least intensely love every one of their songs but that doesn't make it horrible. Plus people change they don't stay the same and people assume that they'll stay within one genre when they're not

Damn for me it was the opposite, I loved scaled & icy. It took me a while to accommodate to their new sound but after a year i loved every song. Although i really hated their album cover
if you check out the twenty one pilots album, keep in mind that album is generally considered one of their worst. (i still like it but shhh) Trench is probably the best album to start with, and it's also got an amazing album cover too!
Scaled and Icy isnt even bad if you just want some up beat pop music Edit(I definitely do get the dissapointment after coming off the heels of Trench though)

With most people talking about Twenty One Pilots, Scaled and Icy is meant to sound like generic pop music. If you’re a fan of the TØP lore you’ll probably understand why but if you’re not I’ll explain why it sounds different from their other stuff. This album is propaganda and is meant to make DEMA (a place that is depressing and not at all intriguing) look like a fun and nice place when it’s really not. The only song that breaks this is No Chances which takes away the nice and inviting vibes and is replaced with the mood that most twenty one pilots music is because it follows within the Trench storyline.

Great video, about the U2 take. Their literally one of the best and most influential bands of the 80s they have two great post punk influenced albums like War and the Unforgettable Fire (listen to the song “Wire”) they evolved their sound after to a Pop Rock influenced by Heartland Rock. And then in the 90s they changed their sound again adding Alternative Rock and Alternative Dance, yes is almost all downfall afterwards with few songs on that level I agree on that.

as much as scaled and icy isn't the best twenty one pilots album by any means, it wasn't meant to be. In the storyline of all the albums, the character clancy gets captured by the bishops and forced to make propaganda music for the people of dema. In short they made a bad album for the lore

I have a huge beef with black and white covers. They so easily fade into the background. Color brings an immediate association, and no color brings...nothing.

Scaled and Icy had way better vibes than it did music. I still enjoy the music but it was a bit disappointing following Trench. Can't wait for Clancy though, I've loved their last single!

Yeah, I love The Outside. The rest of the album goes unappreciated by me
I don't get St. Anger nor Significant Other hate (I don't know if it's even a thing, but Limp Bizkit hate in general is). St. Anger is raw and has an interesting backstory to put it very lightly. Frantic, St. Anger, Shoot me Again are one of the best songs from the album. The song played in the video from SO is just the intro and does not represent the full album. There is also a ton of nu metal classics. Just Like This, I'm Broke, Trust, Show Me What You Got and 1999 are one of my favorites.
Significant other is great
With Weezer's Raditude, is like an album that's so bad it's almost good. Like most of the songs themselves aren't good, mostly the lyrics, but it's almost just so bad that it's kind of a bop. The songs I deem to be actually good are Put Me Back Together, If you're wondering (I want you too), and Let It All Hang Out.

Transit Of Venus by Three Days Grace, it has some really nice artworks inside, plus the fact that the album is in a paper case so when you want to open it all of the artworks reveal, but the album itself is my least favorite TDG album

I had a very short u2 phase in the 6th grade so yes, I listened to U2 on purpose, because I didn't really have a music taste back then and we had to make a presentation about a UK Band for school :D
Also I'd say that the album art of that U2 album is very good in that way that it perfectly expresses what U2's music sounds like.p

Ok there are some good songs on art angels, but most of them are just fine, and as an album it doesn’t really hold up. I remember when it came out being very disappointed, especially following visions which is a great album with a great cover.

scaled and icy is an alright album. people only diss it cuz of the lore behind as to why it sounds the way it does (mostly pop). the cover does go hard tho.
however i will say the merch during this era was awful. too much tie-dye and some of the designs on hoodies and shirts were a hit and miss
f(x) is my favorite kpop group and one of my favorite album covers (and overall art direction) among their discography is sadly also is their worst album imo...it's electric shock if you're interested :)

I believed that Eternal Atake by Lil uzi vert is one of the most beautiful album covers I've seen..... Sadly the album is kinda mid.
