coming from apex, that term isn't surprising. easier to do in this game though. both used in a way that can put an enemy in a disadvantage like in a 1v3 scenario

It says that the defibrilator charge time went up from 0.6s to 0.8s, but it feels like a god damn eternity.

@@Kellestial It's been hilarious watching everyone (including myself) repeatedly let go of the fire key midway through the animation and need to restart the charge because of the muscle memory.

With dematerializer you can also make "the Sledge strat" from Rainbow Six. Throw your nades are mines on the ground and use dematerializer to bomb anyone under

OTTR NEW GLITCH: if you demat the big vent units on the roof of a lot of buildings (like the tall building in the middle of a stadium) you can place a jump pad under the vent unit, remat the vent unit, and mantle it and it will send you flying

For the light gateway you can actuallly see the direction the other end of the portale Is by watching at the pixels direction

My favorite things to do with the gateway grenade is if I'm ever pinched I throw one near the edge of the map and throw the second one next to me and I jump over any ledges so it seems I took it and I've killed 9 people already because they fall off the map w their momentum

Ive also seen someone use the dematerializer, put an aps in and reseal the hole. Idk if this works for turrets but definitely might get patched soon

you can also go through floors and sometimes walls with the light teleporter
New medium ability is fire, I was about to die so I placed a jump pad cleared the roof and reset it before the guy chasing me could get up
Pretty sure i made a post about that canister tip a few hours after launch, cool to see that more ppl are finding out tho😊
I had a crazy play where I ported the cash box to the station but in the middle of conflict so i ported back to try and revive my teammate and got lit up so I went back in the port and threw a pyro grenade and started emptying my mag at whoever was bold enough to chase
The audio is GREAT even if some dies on our team i just litsen but when i get a kill with a wepon that needs SKILL oh man its really awsome.
I noticed its impossible get accurate shot with the new slug shotgun through anti gravity cube. It totally messes the weapon projectile trajectory.
One thing I like about defibrillators is that you can use certain abilities when the delay occurs. Meaning heavy can use mesh shield, light can grapple and pre fire invis cloak, etc.
yeah, hope that isn't considered a glitch like he mentioned in the video. I also don't hate the new defib. bad teammates would normally revive you in the worst spots and you'll die faster than when you're ghosted. if they focus you while your ghosted, they can be killed by your teammates
@@RideTheSkiesbut really bad teammate’s still do it. I was in a match last night where I got killed 6 times in a row because my awful team kept rezzing me into cross fire. I was trying to change class but instead kept getting brought back into flame throwers.
Tbh im kinda glad that light portal dosent insta teleports you on contact; i was cocerned on how the mechanic work bc if it does it would be more to secure a kill (throwing it on a death pit and then throwing it at a opponent)
Anyways i already try this idea, but somhow u can't throw it to a "death pit" even tho u trow it like above the death pit, it just back to charges
Also they changed the input for dropping objects/statues. Now you have to aim to drop without throwing

Anyone know how to get the mic audio to not come out of your TV? I play on PS5 and i’ve yet to find a setting to get the mic output to come from my mic.

The new revive is great IMO because now as you wait to revive you can orient yourself instead of bursting into existence blinded.
Season 2 is incredible.
really wish the materalizer was a gadget instead of a class base, medic/turrent seems more important as a support class.
side note as a medium solo queue whats your loudout and reasoning? love your finals content sucks the media coverage has not pop poured or performed yet

It’s a lot more fun than recon specialty tho. But I hope they bring recon back as a pulse ability similar to battlefield 2042 or black ops 4.
My favorite thing to do with the dematerializer is stealing cashout boxes from under while the defending team is busy and then sealing it right away. I got a couple of free steals like that.
Did they change something with the roof climbing? I remember being able to jump from windows to roofs, seems impossible now (well its been like that for a while but i remembered to ask now)
I feel like I used to be able to jump into a window ledge of a house, and just keep looking straight up & jumping to the next floor window… not so much now 🤷♂️

you can clip out of the practice range by throwing a portal at the top of the room with the dummies
How long does the portals stay
Here’s another tip: if your I light with invis, and u get defibed, u can activate invisiblity while ur reviving and the enemies can’t see you

Yea its great. U can actually go invisible with light before u actually come back. And can switch to what weapon u want while your loading up
If an enemy is being revived with the defibrillator you can stun them early with the stun gun

Pro-Edging just the TIP
I wish i had my pc to makes videos but the best way to play a light is throw a tp grenade then run in to fight. When you need to dip out you just throw your other tp grenade and tp out. The enemy has no idea where the other end of the portal is so they follow at disadvantage. Plus you go invis right when you enter portal. Another amazing tip is for heavies mainly. When defibed you can use your shield wall while you are waiting for your revive bar. This is KEY for mediums to revive their heavy and play around his body while he holds a shield.

Really good tips. Can I suggest you put captions in your videos? Everything was super helpful but your accent can make it hard to understand at times.
I am trying to do the challenges but the 5k grenades is way to hard
I finished it in a couple of hours. Try running only nades as gadgets, frag, gas and pyro. Play quick cash and hide until they go to capture the cash out and spam all your nades at them.
You can also use the grenades launcher for xp too
sounds easy with nades that have a large aoe like gas and pyro
i wish they bring back mouse and keyboard to console users when using crossplay on just like in insurgency sandstorm

I have a question.
I really like the game and everything about it, for me it is one of the best shooters so far.
The Season 2 trailer has over a million views and I think it's going to take off online.
But so far, 45k players are online in the evening.
I think it is smaller than in the stupid call of duty or battlefield.
What do developers think about online? Is it not enough for them and they are disappointed?
Is the total number of players on consoles and PC good enough for them to add new content to the game for a long time?
Has anyone asked them about it?
Nexon who owns and funds embark said they were extremely happy with how The Finals was doing last season and the best earning Nexon has ever had so I think even slight growth over the solid base which was around 10,000-12,000 most of the time would be considered success from Nexon. Apex did average until season 3 and people don't seem to remember that. The Finals is in a good state as long as they can at least hold their solid playerbase. Even more would be better of course. like 15000 average at anytime would be a big jump for them.

Light stungun is too OP. As a heavy I shouldn't be stun locked and nuked 100-0 before I can even move

I think more work needs to be done on the time to kill. Some weapon are completely under powered and over shadowed by the meta.

You can not use that mesh shield when getting revived anymore. Pretty sure it was a bug

Is it just me or is the equipment wheel not working on the keyboard? The wheel shows up, but I can't select anything. I know, I know, nobody uses it on the keyboard, but I'd like it to work.
I think there are two separate wheels, one shows what you got, the other lets you choose. Not sure though
Teleporting the cashout is not currently possible. Not sure what I'm doing wrong but it's defnitely not working for me.
When you're being revived and you have grapple equipped. U can actually grapple around during the defib animating. Try to play with it a bit amigo
I like that you can say thankyou if you get rezzed with defib, while ur line up which diorection. Also I'm Pro-edgy AF

I feel like defibs feel a lot better now. You can see what you're getting into, only takes a bit longer than the instant revive (and flashbang can't see anything for a second) like it used to be

the vocal minority cried over and over how overpowered it was. of course they were going to nerf it. that is who dev teams always listen to
edit: also watched last seasons #1 player and his team lose over and over in the first round yesterday. he even mentioned he missed recon senses.

@@neonclouds9295defib is what I was talking about also. vocal minority cried about fighting teams all running defibs because it caused fights to last longer. I saw it a bit on twitter lol

defib nerf/change is so much healthier for the game.
If you solo you got Charge & Slam with Sledge. You won't need to be revived all the time. Easy 25/6 KD
Top 500 player here, “you’d be throwing not to run the sa1216” yes it’s probably the best heavy weapon yet I don’t run it. Please use guns you guys enjoy don’t become slaves to the meta, you aren’t throwing by using other guns. But it doesn’t need a nerf

On begining im totaly hype but after i see some changes are new not added 😢 and i dont like also some of the chenges where is old maps? 😢 i play 90% bank it now bank it is on the map what i dont like. Also where is lights nerf??? -80hp , or invisible 3 sec with 30 sec cooldown , or slower 2x

Because only your head is visible but you can stil fire your gun. Bullets firing out of your neck lol.
I am finding the defib pretty suckie now. ESP since it takes just as long as a regular revive (longer defib, wait for ghost model, then heal them back to full) But it’s made me get more creative. I’m finding myself using smokes and dematerialize or even a zipline to fully revive teammates safely. And it feels good not having that space filled by a defib.
You can waste your Evasive Dashes when getting deffibed

You cant hold the platform while being underneath it. The video shows there is another teammate on your platform.
