i believe it will be another hype and die game. there isnt enought inovation and incentive to keep playing. i hope im wrong because i love the game, but it gives me a déjà vue feeling.

like with law breakers if anyone remembers that name or very recently hyenas which were also arena shooters, but in this games case the parent company of this game is nexon so it might be very likely (google embark studios ab)
and one advantage i see the game having over those is that it doesnt have as much limitations with the enviorment and it has a lot of variants for the maps with gimmicks so we might be okay
This game is insanely fun and that’s such a huge difference than most shooters to start. I think the amount of innovation the devs have already with destruction and many other ideas yet to be implemented - it’s gonna be a wild ride. They’ve talked about maps with vehicles and different game modes. Just take a look at all the different map variants with orbital lasers (sorry campers), meteor showers, etc - there’s a ton of stuff coming over the next year. So psyched!!!!❤
this is known by beta players i think but if u jump in a window opening jump look at the window above you and spam jump you can scale buildings without taking the stairs

you completely missed my point. this games goal was chaos. and it's exactly opposite of sport. sports is structured and precise. understanding the map. limitations. and here you just level everything and it's a flat spot. @@DrJuiceMD
the physics of this game are insane, i can see why they took thier time with it, now they can work on content with this amazing engine they built
It's made in unreal engine 5. They didn't make the engine
True but still you dont just take unreal engine 5 and throw some assets in there, making physics act exactly the way you want them to is not that far from creating an engine, thats why a "physics engine" is its own thing especially when dynamic destruction is involved
@@schmackofatzer82 On top of that, the destruction is handled server side and then synchronized with everyone. It's quite an impressive achievement, especially on this scale.

I believe this game will be the next big thing. Maybe not Fortnite level, but probably Rainbow six Siege level.

HUGE TIP FOR MELEE USERS
you can use your quick melee to cancel the long recovery animation for most weapons. Plus it also adds an extra attack than can finish an opponent off before they can get away or kill you.
One I like to do is two light hits with hammer then a quick melee, it destroys Mediums

Don’t cancel animation for sword thrust, you’re snubbing your attack window with a shorter range and less damage animation cancel. Recommend using q. Melee for dagger backstab, just don’t cancel it too early
Long recovery animation?
Are you saying that punching will beat up your reloading by canceling the animation? I don’t know what the “recovery animation for a weapon” means.
One very simple thing I've found useful is being able to RIGHT-CLICK to "gently" put down any holdable. It gives you a lot more control of a teammate's body. It also doesn't ignite cannisters.
What is that key bind so I can figure out what it is on console?

I've been using the Y/Triangle button (equip primary) to drop items

not sure if anybody has noticed yet, but you can gain momentum after using a jump pad or zip line by bunny hopping. this allows you to get an extra jump or so depending on ur timing, carrying ur momentum to get to an obj/cash out faster.
this paired with a dash or zip line via the light class can help your team tremendously
i was about to put this until i saw ur comment, i’ve literally gotten a couple steals to win games off of this. if you play apex (specifically horizon) the bunny hop timing is almost the same for the light character off a jump pad/zip

Sliding on the edge of something will also gain you some momentum.
I'm sure most people know this already, but all sorts of mines, c4 and breach charges stick to barrels and any other type of thing you can pick up on the map and throw away.
This could be usefull to make cool traps with barrels, but also if you need to throw a c4 further away, stick it to a chair or something and you'll throw it much further then you could throw the c4.
There is an achievement for this
Highly reccomend attatching c4 to the tops of red explosives, the jet means you can get kills with your c4 fro 100 meters away. Got 6 kills the other night from that strat alone.

I knew you can attach c4 or other stuff to barrels and other stuff and I knew that you can throw those further, but for some reasone I didn't think about using it to throw explosives further. Damn, it seemes so obvious now that you said it.
You can also put turrets on movable objects which I found out when someone used on me
I think a good tip/combination of tips is that grenades can be tossed over or underhanded, allowing you to do pop flashes like in games such as CS, or to leave one on the ground behind you as you run around a corner. Adding to this, is that grenades seem to inherit your momentum, so jumping and throwing a grenade gives it more height, while walking backwards and throwing one will shorten the distance it is thrown.
The second part of that I’m not 100% on the mechanics of yet.
IMHO, as someone who played the crap out of BF3 in the past, this game has that "momentum" feel all around, so you're very likely right.
I missed that feel, it's engraved in my veins.

gas can be cleared with fire
The medium's riot shield will still block bullets if it isnt being held up. The feet can still be shot while held up.
Lights and mediums can pass through vents, heavies cannot
The charge attack on light's sword has a hit box that lingers for longer than you might expect
Light's cloaking devicd emits a sound while active
The riot shield protection was aparrently a bug, and its been hotfixed recently.
The fire can be cleared with smoke, just like CS
This tip is one that I inherited from DRG is that most interacts (leaps and scaling) can be done just as well by holding the button. For example, if you hop from a jump pad to a zipline yo don't have to time it but rather hold the interact button and you will get on the zipline just as well (or if you want to grab onto a ledge).
( 08:12 Angled Jump Pads ) *A tip is to run and slide in to the pad for extra boost, can be done in tight spots as well :3
and if you already have momentum from like jumping off a zip you go massively further.
if you use evasive dash on light on the medium's jump pad you get launched soooo far

The tazer instantly stops someone who is stealing the cash out. Great for when a heavy is being double healed and has only 1 second left on their steal. Pairs nicely with the grapple hook and hiding way above a cash out to drop down, taze the stealer, and then zip back up to your hiding spot. Don't forget to reload the tazer once the charge is back up too!
Eh...Mediocre there so many better options with the taser and actually good load outs
Here is a Secret for Everyone, if you melee the red canister while you have it in the “force” thing it takes off like a rocket and starts the detonation sooner then just throwing it normal.
You can also throw it and quickly grab it to have even more control over it
Dude such an amazing video! I can't wait to see all the creative tricks players will use.
One trick I want to add: If you're standing inside a window, you can often jump backwards, look up, and climb to the next floor window.
Somehow the first tips video that I clicked on was actually helpful even after playing two beta weekends. Thanks for posting.
Meleeing the explosives also works well, but grab after priming works better. Also just shoot any of the canisters. Also, shooting the goo cans in the air explodes them into 4 way crosses of goo which if they fall down and break buildings
He had goo can tip in the older video. It worked in the beta but is less destructive in release
They fixed that

One big one not mentioned we figured out was that you can charge into a jump pad and make a hole part of the way up for everyone to run through.
with the explosive barrel you don't have to throw then catch it, if you melee it it'll be primed but fly off normally, saves a bit of time so you don't have to throw and catch it then throw it again

I like using Jump pads to block vents, it works surprisingly well
My throwing knife got stuck midair in the vent when I broke it and i couldnt crawl through
You can also slide into jump pads to get a much more horizontal jump. Most of the time that eliminates the need for an angled jump pad.

about the tip with the goo „bridges“ you can only use 15 pieces of goo if you use more the goo will automatically break

In Monaco in particular you can make use of the angled jump pad as the roofs are at the perfect angle. Slide on the roof and place the jump pad in front of you, and it'll send you soaring since sliding into it launches you even further.

I noticed that as a Light class you can dash right before a jump pad and get a lot more distance horizontally.

also a movement tip. if there is a multiple story building with windows going up the entire side to the roof, from the outside you can jump between the window sills to climb all the way up to the roof. just gotta move character back and jump and look up and youll grab onto the next window. Basically just push "S" and space bar at same time while looking up.

The good gun is by far my favorite equipment in the game. I thought it dumb at first but I've slowly been learning some tech. When you go a teamate or an enemy it stops all momentum and freezes them. Goo also does act as a solid when hitting someone for about a second. Keeping that in mind you can go someone that's going up a jump pad or on a zipline and it will freeze them and drop them back down helping you defend high ground or maybe dropping them in a pit. Additionally you can go a person to lock them down for a fight. Plenty of times I've locked an enemy down to give me enough time to kill their team mate. It also freezes where it lands so you can root someone by hitting their legs or hitting their chest blocks their vision and stops them from shooting.

Downloaded this last night and same with about 10 of my friends lets go
Mines at the top of vertical zip lines do pretty well. Also you can attach mines, scanners etc to bank boxes too!

Its the only game I've ever played where I didnt turn the music to zero. I will never get bored of those cool tunes :D
One thing I haven't seen anyone talk about is when the cashout is on the second floor or higher you can defend the floor beneath it and use an explosive to drop the cashout to you when someone tries to steal it. Not only will this interrupt the steal but often there will be more than one team pushing it, meaning instead of being the team getting pushed you let everyone else fight over it and pick off what's left. If there's another floor beneath you gas or fire should buy you enough time to rotate down and repeat. Holding the low ground can be tough so bring some gadgets that can make cover and hold out away from the hole you just made so that your opponents can't get an angle on you and are forced to either jump down or find another way in.
I really wish they made game modes that capitalize more on the destruction mechanics, and I feel the medium class build needs better explosive options, but outside of those two complaints this game is great for a f2p

Oh man i wish a tip in here was "pay attention to the score board!" My buddies and i have lost a couple games where the team who got the first cashout is holding the second, and during a last second steal we get 3rd partied and then us and the 3rd party team just lose 2-0-0. Sometimes your enemy is your friend! Imo team colors should just always be on for that reason. I see no sense in turning it off, or even being allowed to turn it off. Awesome video. I learned a lot of new tricks. The two explosive grabbable tricks will definitely come in handy
Idk if anyone has said it yet. (I'm too lazy to comb through comments.😅) But after falling any distance (it seems) by pressing crouch/slide button you can gain a little bit of momentum, because it turns into a slide. Also I didn't see any tactics involving mines, and their placability on throwable objects. Including red gas canister + explosive mine for increased damage.
I think that one also less known thing about mines is their proximity range. (Haven't tested this one out fully yet, but it seems that to each mine there is their own activasion range.) Oh and also that instead of just waiting for a mine to activate you can just destroy it to gain an extra zoning play. E.g. destroying gas mine to zone out an enemy from a position, forcing him not to push if you don't have gas or fire grenade.

9:30 I forget the key but you can just leave a teammate's res trophy in place with I think right click instead of throwing it
Nice tips I played quite a lot in beta and some of these were new to me. I stupidly never thought about using the goo thrower for traversal, thanks for that my enemy's will hate it

An unavoidable part of the gameplay if you play with grenade launchers. I always surprise myself whenever I knock the floor out from under us while trying to fight someone at close range
