    The dough could be pressed through a noodle making mold, there would then be noodles instead of spinners.

    I feel like it will be a super hot dish with that scorch bonnet. Can use a bit milder pepper like a serrano? Then maybe work my way up the next batch hahaha can't wait to try this. Thanks for the recipe and video!

      The scotch bonnet pepper in its whole state isn’t spicy, it gives whatever you cook and wonderful flavor. If you cut it or if it happens to burst in the pot then it will be spicy. You can use other pepper however the scotch bonnet pepper have a unique flavor/aroma. You’re welcome.

    Thanks for the wonderful recipes. Gonna make this tonight. Is spinners the same as dumpling?

    How long does it take to be cooked?

    • @AuthenticPlantbasedEats
      @AuthenticPlantbasedEats  Před 4 lety +5

      The soaked peas can take 15-20 minutes to cook. After adding all the remaining ingredients it can take another 45 minutes to cook down in to a stew consistency.

    How available or affordable is spelt flour to Jamaicans living in Jamaica ?

    • @AuthenticPlantbasedEats
      @AuthenticPlantbasedEats  Před 2 lety

      It’s available just have to ask when you go to the supermarket. As far as affordability, it’s more expensive than regular flour.

    Thomas Sowell was the first person to open my eyes to the fact that GOOD history requires utmost respect for two things: CONTEXT and COMPLEXITIES. Without examining context and complexities, all you have left is "The Narrative". And "The Narrative" is always Always ALWAYS complete and utter bullsh*t!!
