I attempt to make the Prada bag

I have been seeing this Prada re-edition nylon bag a lot on Pinterest. I saw it was $700 online, so I decided to just make a bag inspired by that. I was lucky to find this water proof fabric from my grandma.
This bag took almost four days to make, and I didn’t know if it would even turn out right. I made a LOT of mistakes throughout the process there was so much trial and error.
My Bag Pattern (FREE):

Pieces needed
-Main panel (4 pieces if you are including lining)
-Side Panel (2 pieces if you are including lining)
- 1” x 1” (2 of these squares)
-One 7 inch zipper
- 16” x 3” arm strap
Tips/mistakes to learn from:
-When measuring the top curve of the pattern, measure the ENTIRE length of the zipper
-Don’t forget to add the seam allowance to the pattern piece
-Taper the side panel so it goes from 2.5 inches in the middle to 1 in or less at the end of the side panel (this will eliminate bulk at where the straps are sewn)
-Add one or two inches to the ends of the side panel piece just in case
-Save top stitching the zipper for the last step after you add the lining (if you choose to include a lining piece)
-When sewing the piping piece to the side panel, try to hold it taught while sewing so the final product is less wrinkled
-When pinning the side panel to the main piece, start from the center of each then work your way to the sides
-Iron the strap before sewing because it will be easier and create a cleaner finish
