I guess we can throw this one to the list of great Futurama season finales
so they end the half getting incredibly meta, like inception levels of meta, simulations upon simulations upo-what smells like barbecue?
It was a rare moment for Amy to show her intelligence though
I think it almost certainly refers to the audience as I don't think the lines in the opening have ever directly referenced the plot before...
I wonder if the crew did live in a simulation but still happy ending
Yes, this final episode was ridiculous yet hilarious. Another existential crisis story and you mentioned Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, I was like, “Oh yeah, I remember that particular episode.” That’s a throwback when everyone was put into a world where Hydra reigned supreme and it took two people to bring everyone back. More or less.
It's always very interesting how Bender out of all the main character is the one who feels for the "lesser beings" such as robots and some animals, he is always the one going through existential crisis and seeking the meaning of life. He's ironically the most human and relatable character in the show.
This episode also reminds me of a few different Rick and Morty episodes.
"Lawnmower Dog," "M Night Shyam Aliens," and "The Ricks Must Be Crazy" all come to mind. All great episodes.
This is an amazing episode.
10:00 that was amazing, I love this episode
interesting how while usually most season finales are fry and leela centric this finale is a more bender centric episode.
They've entered a proper romantic and sexual relationship, it makes sense to move on.
Huzzah, great reaction. Happy to see you get through them all.
Really strong season finale, which is nothing new for Futurama.
Now the question stands, what is the best Futurama episode? For me Luck of the Fryrish is certainly up there.
this is quite similar to the novel, Fall; or, Dodge in Hell: by Neal Stephenson
Basicaly "Thirteenth Floor/Free Guy" cartoon.
Is our Bender gone and replaced with a higher Bender?
If there is a creator, I.e. God who created the universe, then isn’t that suggesting our world is in fact a simulation?
Futurama season 8 finale right Eric Reacts and Are You going to watch Season 9 Eric Reacts
Ahh he skip the best joke about farnsworth changing his mind
Be nicer to your NPCs folks, that could be you. 😉
Sir… since your done with this part… I wanna recommend another adult animated series… it’s called smiling friends
I’m hoping to get more on Fry and Nibbler expanding on the lore. Nibbler even called Leela “the other” and we still got nothing.
Clams are jerks
12:28 Well, if God created everything because omnipotent, why wouldn’t he always be watching? Especially if he’s judging our actions for when we die.
I think you perceive your entertainment value higher than it is. If there really is a god that creates infinitely varied life forms, you think he'd be interested in watching you watch cartoons or write CZcams comments?
@@leok7193 He doesn’t watch us for entertainment, he watches us for actions if they’re good or bad for us to be judged. My life is no more interesting than the next guy.
@@ghostspider2056Why would an omnipotent being just sit around & judge everyone. That seems like the dumbest thing ever🤣
Did it sit around & judge single celled organisms for billions of years before then judging plants, viruses & animals for the last 500,000,000 years? Why would it reward or punish an incredibly short life (by its reckoning, faster than the blink of an eye) with eternal glory or trillions upon trillions of years of constant anguish?
@@goldenageofdinosaurs7192 From what I understand, He initially wanted to created a perfect world, but then the devil brought sin into the world by tempting humans. So now He judges everyone who either sins or resists the temptation and serve God.
Obviously God only judges sentient people who are capable of evil, not animals or other organisms who don’t understand the concept.
