This is pretty much another non-canon anthology episode, taking the mick of intrusive commercials by using the most generic episode plot as a framing device.
Although I do wish they had kept the “what if machine” as the framing device for these kind of episodes.
"Bite my shiny metal propeller?"😀
Eric reacts well be right back after these messages
Almost to the end but GOOD NEWS! I just looked it up and Futurama comes back July 29! Only about a month after you'll post the last reaction video here.
Wasn’t Leela’s fault. She was under a science spell.
Our season's "Anthology of Interest" episode.
I hope Season 9 of Futurama
Feel bad for fry I see just how much he loves Leela I hope they stay together
That’s what made the episode so horrible. It’s a serious issue that they continually push aside for throwaway toy anthology stories.
@@quinna5537 I see others have their point believe me I do too
This episode clearly isn’t canon so it doesn’t bother me so much. It’s like the animal episode or the Saturday cartoon episode.
Or when Bender eats himself to death after becoming human.
It wasn't great, but definitely gives the impression of being a non-canon anthology despite the existence of a rather flimsy framing device...
imdb 4.4 says all but we get 2 new seson i hope they make it better
This was the episode that convinced me they had no idea what they were doing. How do you mess up an anthology episode?
By having AI generate the script.
I disagree with you
Next time is the season part one finale which is really great,
This season was not as good as the old ones but it still was ok, the only episodes i really would have rather have differently are,
This anthology episode where i don't understand why they didn't kept the already perfect plotdevice for non canon filler that is the what-if machine, only to have that king of space plot leading nowhere, The Dune episode that bringed the worms back but the crew miniaturized themselves instead of using the tiny vr robot replica, i guess they needed Leela to get high on spices,
The first one wasn't good enough for the renewal of futurama, if fry really wanted to watch everything available it should have taken way longer than x2 especially when you imagine the infinite content AI could do in the Future, it's interesting to talk about binge watching but it wasn't handled well enough,
Lastly the covid one who was in my opinion the least memorable but it was still ok.
anyway good reactions as always, keep it up^^
Honestly my least favourite episode from the season. I heard that the writers wrote the episodes in isolation instead of in a writers room, which kinda explains why most episodes feel super disjointed. I will say the final episode is peak Futurama, and is kind of a mindfuck when you really dig deep into it lol
I think it would be nice if the final episode is literally a dream in the mind of a 5 year old Fry playing with his toys in his room, before his parents invite him out to meet his friends include the new girl Leela who just cane back from the doctor's after having an eye infection.
@@ChristopherSobieniakI hate the whole "it’s all a dream" endings. Even when I watched the Wizard of Oz, I thought it was a huge cop out.
@@ChristopherSobieniak That would literally ruin the series, like retroactively make the entire thing worse.
Eggulons are a reference to "Weebles".
I swear Leela can't love Fry for more than 3 seconds at a time. Every 5 episodes is her falling in love with someone else.
That’s why this is the worst episode of the entire series for me. Worse than Raging Bender, worse than the Inhuman Torch and even A Beast with a Billion Backs was better.
That joke was so Wong.
I was not really a big fan this Episode. I like it they brought back the MiniStory ish. Plots. But they didn't really do a lot with them. And I just felt like the whole episode was kind of confusing
This was the episode that made me drop the season. Still haven’t watched the finale yet. Really hope the second half is going through some revisions with the writers and can come back stronger than before.
Your commitment to inclusivity and diversity in your content is evident. It creates a space where everyone can find a piece of themselves in the narrative.
This is probably the weakest episode they have. It feels like an episode of Disenchantment.
Of the (current) 150 episodes. Guess whwere prince and the product ranks?
If you guessed 150, congratulations you move on to the fast money round!
Disney+ has been trying to get me to "upgrade to Hulu" by dangling "Futurama" and "Bob's Burgers" in front of me. So far, your reactions to Hulu's season 8 of "Futurama" has convinced me that's not going to happen. Oh well, "you can't re-catch 'lightning in a bottle," even if you have a mountain of DEI and ESG cash, like the Walt Disney company.
You sound like such an enlightened individual.
You and Trump should be best buddies
you can just pirate yk
Personally this was my least favourite episode of the season.
