- Welcome back to Tripped Mexico here in beautiful Sayulita. Because it was more economical, we decided to buy a motorcycle in Mexico. It was a bit of a challenge getting all of the licensing and paperwork in place but it is so worth having it to explore the area around Nayarit!
Join us for a happy hour margarita on Sayulita beach at the end of the video. Next week we promise to take you around this cute pueblo magico.

That delivery was so amusing to watch...great editing. Those are some hard working individuals, no dolly, no ramp. Wow.
No, it can be yours the motorcycle. Watch CZcams “Trent and Allie” an also “Nomadic Movement” they just bought a motorcycle in Mexico watch their videos they are in Mexico right now doing the same thing. They are on their way to Belize. You can register the bike in your name, took them a bit to figure it out but they got in their name. Good luck!
I'm so glad I came across your channel. Great videos!
I really like all there videos of Mexico. I doubt if I will ever make it there. It's a good way to see different places.
Motorcycle riding is a good experience, have a nice ride
Wow this is awesome... including the delicious margaritas... it's real life 🤟
Enjoy have fun!
Great video! Fin your Spanish is impressive, my Spanish on the other hand is limited to the Taco Bell menu:).
Ray J but also equally important
Debes ver todo el video antes que me juzques
This is so awesome guys! We have been binge watching you guys for a little bit now and you have inspired us to start our own channel based here in Barbados! Loving the editing on this one! Keep it up!

I think you are not leaving Mexico any longer!🇲🇽😂 many people came here and never left!😊 something sxy about a girl driving a bike or a truck✅💯
Fin, your Spanish is soooo good...with the gringo accent of course, I love it! Tim: I love the music of you helping/not helping with the unloading of the bike, I had some laughs, great video all around guys!
Im new to the channel, but you guys deserve millions of subs!
Wowwwww I love your videos
Dang girl your Spanish is soo good!
nice bike, reminds me of the Sanyang 125 I rode for almost three years in Taipei back in the early 1990s.
Your Spanish is awesome! Oh to be sitting at a beach bar in a tank top at sunset... instead of wearing fleece pants and sitting under a blanket in our cockpit. My boat is on the wrong side of the border 😂
Hi, what a lovely couple you are!!! The videso are great and Fin you are beautiful (respectfuly....hahaha) My girl and I were thinking of going to Sayulita and you completely convinced us to go! we are going in 10 days.
HAHAHAHA just laugh so hard, good communication with the mover LOL
fascinating , i like fin and tin , they are all over town now .
Bob's casa del mexicanos has probably the greatest margarita . but they are sooo crowded .
Fun to see you guys there. Kinda weird that we were there so long. Seems like ages ago! Are you going to Chacala Beach? Have fun in Guadalajara.
No plans to yet but we’re coming back to this area after GDL. Congrats on the new cabin- the remodel looks awesome!
The Nomadic Movement and Trent and Allie went through the same process. But it took them a lot longer getting there's legal. Have fun. Be safe.
David Roth ha I jut said the same thing. I love their travel through Mexico to Belize.
Just because nomadic movement claims what they did is legal, it most definitely does not make it legal. I stopped following both nomadic movement and Trent and Allie due to this.
Italika brand is well know to be named "Mortalika" because its bolts and parts are of really low quality, but very cheap to fix. At least the casualties are low, just be careful for bad drivers. Just double check all the bolts, change the tyres and replace any thing that looks dodgy.
this is epic
Your spanish is crazy good wow! Impressive!
Gracias Ricky!
Hola
Vengan a Cd Valles o huasteca Potosina acá los llevo a conocer muchos lugares en la moto
Saludos
Hey Tim got a haircut. 👌🏻
en esa moto los amortiguadores son duros y si andas un buen tiempo duele algo el trasero jeje pero lo mejor es dibertirse
Don’t know if this was already asked, but your pants are so cute! Where did you get them from?
watch Trent and Ali they pulled it off on their mexico trip.. they had help but were able to get it done in their name.
So compared to a resort setting, beings it is Mexico. How are you received by the locals. I’m guessing the group that was to welcoming were all local folks. I’m thinking most would see your beautiful smiles and be friendly and inviting. Maybe you could make a deal with the home owner to rent the bike with the home. Do you need a special class for motorcycles. Could you maybe talk a bit about how you pay for items. Is it still mostly cash or can you use debit or credit cards in beach bars, lunch counters, stores. Do most touristy B&B have a safe or do you just get cash from interact when you need to top up. Cheers guys!
Hey so what do u do that u can travel and work I want to do that
Trent and alley figured out how to register in your name
wooow que buen espanol
check out rv parks for us people too!
Enjoying your Journey
Thanks for the Rent vs Buy comparison and "one way to make it legal" ideas. Are you learning Spanish by osmosis or did you study some prior to going there? If studied, what program did you use. Obvious that it is more fun when you speak more of the language. Great video!
I learned mostly in school and then got better through travel!
I’m a American living here in Mexico originally from la your Spanish is amazing!!! Did you guys end up selling it?
What dates will you be in Guadalajara? I’m going at the end of March hopefully I get to run in to you guys !
March!
When did Tim cut his hair? Love it shorter!
You are MEXICAN or with roots?... Congratulations! your spanish is AWESOME!... Bienvenida a México, Enjoy Mexico! Friends
It was always just my favorite subject in school ☺️
@@timandfin so good! 👍 are the most important languages the world.. and happy women's day! 🎉💐
Maybe a silly question but why don't you use your go pro on your helmet or something instead of hold it all the time?
I want that motorcycle
We ran into similar challenges when street addresses are not available. Are you familiar with What3Words.com? They organized the world into 3m x 3m squares in which each square has a unique address of 3 words. An example use is when we get an AirBNB that has no address (like yours), we ask the host to quickly find the location on the What3Words website. I’ll be curious to know if you end up using that service.
Can I ask how much?
the small guy can do a better job unloading by himself. lol
Couldn’t agree more. I was useless.
Sayulita look a lot like Troncones near to Ixtapa in Guerrero...that little town have like 80% Canadians and Usa expats of the population.
Just wait till Easter!!!
Were already scared.
I'm bring my own bike, 650 cc, , but would like like to buy a dirt bike there. explore area. walmart sound cheap.. heck you can rent the box for an apt.
Fin, where did you learn to speak Spanish so well? Did you leave overseas for some time or someone close to you is hispanic?
the gas shows why pipelines are so important, and updating pipelines.
I assume Tim is extremely brainy because his man skills pulling that bike off the van we’re laughable 😂 I’m only messing.
Saw the price. Do u wish you bought a bigger one.
For the motorcycle? Not at all. We only will have it for a few months down here and its comfortable enough for the both of us for short trips. We're thinking of going to Mexico City for close to two months this summer so it's going to be interesting either taking a road trip on it by myself or shipping it across the country!

Fin are you fluent in Spanish? Where and how and when did you learn?
Years in school and a few trips abroad. Maybe a video idea?
I have motorcyle
When you travel to countrys other than Mexico and as non-Mexico residents how to demonstrate proof of ownership and insurance? Who is liable should you injure someone (your non-crook friend)?
Hey guys! Is it possible to cross the Mexican border on a motorcycle registered in somebody else’s name?
Come on amigo lil help here🛵
living in Sayulita rn and looking to buy a bike too. I've been told by mexican friends cops will pull me over a lot and I'll have to give them many bribes because the papers won't be in my name. You ever have any problems??
I heard in Sayulita that you can pretty much ride a bike and not have any issues but if you want to get outside of town you should be legal. I had a mexican friend who purchased the bike in his name and did insurance etc. It was completely his bike on paper. The more I researched this the more I learned how many people do that exact thing and toss their friend some money for the hook up. Before I had the motorcycle, I rented a scooter and drove to the airport to get my sister. I got pulled over by a cop and didn't have the right papers. I had to toss him a MASSIVE bribe ($100USD!!) but in pesos) so that he wouldn't take away the scooter- I was completely screwed in that situation because the rental company didn't have the right papers on their scooter and the cop knew he had me by the huevos. He also was pretending to not understand allison on the phone even though her spanish is perfect so I couldn't talk myself out of the situation. Oh well!

30 pesos is a rip off for 1 tamal.
Yes, but it is Sayulita after all, the most expensive small town in that part of Mexico.
Sabes que? me encanto tu personalidad, estas tan linda!!! y tu vos tan sexy en ingles y español, y mira que a mi me gustan mucho las morenas, but your are a natural queen !!!!
Um, I don't suggest putting on an old plate and just chancing it. That is bad advice. If your caught, which is likely, be prepared to pay up or spend a few weeks in a dirty hole....
Hah exactly! That was kind of the joke 🙃
Amiga no puedo creer que hayáis comprado esa porqueria de motocicleta 🏍, son las peores de seguro es de Elektra en fin cada quien sus gustos yo prefiero Suzuki 600 o la Yamaha r6 saludos.
