The BEST VIEW in the LAKE DISTRICT! Duo Hike To Side Pike via Blea Tarn.

- My first Video Adventure since October! On January 2nd we did a moderate Hike from Blea Tarn to Side Pike for one of THE MOST ICONIC LANDSCAPES in the whole of the English Lake District - The Langdale skyline was looking epic as the sun set over the Scafell Massif.
In this video you will get the details of our route, the visual tour, an idea of what it takes to climb Side Pike and a brief insight into the history of settlers in the Langdales from thousands of years ago. If you WATCH UNTIL THE END you will be rewarded with what I would argue is the best view in The Lake DIstrict.
Many of you told me in person and one or two in the comments that they enjoyed the human interaction in last Junes 'Hallin Fell' video. So... by popular demand I brought Chantelle in to help shoot and be the co-star of this vlog. You'll get to see a little more of her personality in this one as she's likely to pop up here and there in some future videos.

The route is less taxing and certainly not one for the history books but never the less i love some of the shots that I captured and I'm rather proud of the outcome so I hope you all appreciate it. Morning Alex, I absolutely love the Langdales( not done any in little Langdale yet ) it’s such a stunning area, my favourite summits so far is high raise, with being so central the views on a clear day of the iconic summits all around was just surreal
The history and insight you give are really informative, love how you’ve put the video together and the music was spit on too

Another great video just oozing with quality. It was fun to see Chantelle get the mic too.
It's certainly a great view across to the Langdales and Bowfell but for me the best view would have to include some more of the big stuff to the west. I've never climbed it but I'm guessing the view from Green Gable would be pretty amazing.
As it should happen I'm doing green Gable and great Gable with friends in March. No video planned for it but I'll consider it a scouting mission! Thanks again for watching dude!
